It is a pity that the match will be remembered for the dodgy penalty as we were clearly the better side on the night, bar a 15 minute spell in the first half.

On saying that:-  After 'The Hand of God' , 'Deflected Free Kick' ,'The Beckham sending off and Campbell Disallowed Goal' 'Ronaldinho fluke' 'Lampard disallowed goal' 'Penalties' who gives a f*ck? We're in the final at last.

Yeah I know what you mean. Also, looking at the laser shone thing it didn't even go into Schmeichel's eyes, and he ended up saving the shot initially so it worked against us lol.

The annoying thing is, there is now controversy around our match, which I don't like. The laser apparently shone in Schmeichel's face and then the penalty issue. All we'll hear now is how England cheated Vs Denmark. We already heard the stuff about England being at home at Wembley as an advantage.

If we'd have taken our chances and converted properly, rather than fluff chances and give Denmark the emphasis, it would have shut a lot of people up. I can't stand controversy when going advancing in cup competitions, whether it be club or country.

Media and rival fans will find a way to blame Mount for the laser, probably say it was his dad or something.

Saw a news bulletin on TV about Mount making a young girl cry, he gave her his shirt at the end and she was jumping and down with excitement.

Didn't see it live as had things to do, though a nice story for a change.

Seeing how salty mainland Europeans are getting because England won at a child’s game it’s hilarious. If they win I think they may spontaneously combust.

Rubbish Munkie. Mainland Europe loves us Brits. And every year they get to show it in the scoring for the Eurovision Song Contest.

I thought the game was quite physical and English players were getting fouled a lot, the BBC match stats seem to back that up with Denmark's high foul count at 21 compared to England's 10.

Home - Team England  / Away - Team Denmark
Possession
Home 58%
Away 42%
Shots
Home 20
Away 6
Shots on Target
Home 10
Away 3
Corners
Home 6
Away
Fouls
Home 10
Away 21

England is a better team and the win was deserved, sad that the win came from an awkward penalty that was given in a very strange manner.

But some will complain no matter what, had England won 2:0 in regular time someone would still find a way to complain, I read somewhere how supposedly it's an unfair tournament because all semi-finalists played all of their group stage matches at home while others needed to travel around more and how England was at home the most and so on but just how much of a factor that is nobody really knows, some just want to complain.

I find it interesting that so many games needed extra time. Is this the modern football now where at the highest level it's going to be very probable that extra time is played or even penalties in most knockout rounds?

I suspect the increased tactical knowledge in football is making teams defend better.

- My English friends, who are not hooligans themselves, seem to think that only a few rotten fruits are ruining the English fans' reputation, but that's not true. It was very clear to me yesterday that being aggressive and verbally violent is an integrated and socially accepted norm for English football fans, she says.

Repeat after me;

”It’s Millwall up to their old tricks again!”

The England fan base seems to attract the worse supporters (pissed up ‘banter’ brigade) from every club.

It’s embarrassing that this mob of oxygen thieving w**kers are a big representation for the country across the world. They represent the worst of us and people take it that every other c**t from England must be the same.

Not sure its Millwall yet could be yet you are right lots of little clubs supporters follow England and some of these also engage in the fighting.

They are mostly off the radar of the police.

I find this very hard to believe, smells like BS, if anyone spits at a kid even their own fans would lynch them.

Wouldn’t put it past him. 🤣 Had a look at the incident on YouTube there. He’s a dirty tramp. Should never been allowed back on tv again. Imagine it had been JT.

So basically you are calling all the fans on here who don't support the English National team "bitter f**kers". With fans like this, it's no wonder most people dislike this team 😂

What a bizarre statement by someone who supports a club currently owned by a Russian who now has problems entering the country.

A club that has 3 starting English footballers out of which 2 have been completely sidelined by the National team.

The world dislikes the English National team because of the cringeworthy sense of entitlement that supporters and commentators seem to have.

And all the Grealish worship is truly nauseating... the media and commentators speak as if he is some supernatural force but in reality, he is not good enough (yet) to even be a starter at a top club.

Otherwise, the team is quite likeable. And Southgate is a limited but likeable manager, and I admire the way they have dealt with the idiots who boo the kneeling.

You need to read things a bit more clearly before trying to call me out on anything. Where in my post did I say that anybody should support England? I never said that, not once. My post was aimed at the people that clearly hate the English national team, English fans and England in general but still choose to support an English football team. Seeing their bitterness and hate is hilarious to me.

Also, what sense of entitlement are you talking about exactly? How is it any different than a Chelsea fan having hope that Chelsea can win something? Nobody is saying England have a god given right to win anything, it's no different than the hope and passion fans from any other country will feel for their team.

And this is why I don't enjoy the national teams' tournaments, it brings out and normalises all the dividing nationalistic views and sentiments rather than make it a party of exchange. This happens in every country, not just England, but having been living in the UK for over 20 years, I have seen here things I haven't in other countries (my home country Spain or Portugal where I also lived for 10 years).

Some complain in here that the 'mainland Europeans' will point at the game against Denmark as a cheat because of the penalty that it was never a penalty (if that had happened to Chelsea, I'd be mad about it just like about Chilwell's non-offside in the FA Cup final). But coming from people that have hung on the "hand of god" incident since 1986, or Beckham's red card, I find it amusing. And don't get me started about every game against Argentine that was preceded by Journos first pages remembering the Maldives war (I was even challenged in my local market in the 2002 World Cup before England's game against Argentine as they confused me with one!), or about Germans I've known that were reminded of the Second World War before England played Germany in some or other World Cup or Euro. So yeah, overall I find it amusing that they don't understand why some other people point at Sterling's dive.

Having said that, I really find this England team likeable with how they stand to bigots and racists, because they have some quality young players and, mostly, because of Mason Mount. And I will be happy for all my English friends if England goes on to win the final. And this is coming from a 'mainland European'.

Likely to be three Chelsea players on the pitch on Sunday, Mason Mount, Jorginho and Emerson.

I'll be going for my country on this one.

Actually have a small bet on Italy to win, originally was Portugal as an outright bet then a new one after they went out and for Italy to win outright.

Didn't expect England to get this far.

What a massive load of sh*t this is. There is no entitlement from the fans at all, 99.9% of English fans are pessimistic and dont expect anything from our national team, theres definitely no entitlement.

As for talking up a player, yeah were definitely the only ones that ever do this arent we...

Anyone else claims their team is great, can win etc are great, oh isnt it good that they have confidence, look at them supporting their national team, its so lovely to see....England fans say we think we have a good squad and a decent chance of getting to the semi finals = OH MY GOD ENGLISH FANS ARE SO ARROGANT AND ENTITLED!!!!!

I`m sick of people claiming stuff like this so they can slag us off while completely ignoring all the negatives of other nations, their fans and their media.

I mean, look at this sh*t

Lets talk about the 'generous' two free kicks Denmark got in the build up to their goal. The 2nd free kick which the goal came from was given for holding, they don't come more generous than that, literally every free kick corner has holding like that, why was that deemed a free kick ?

Strange how thats been glossed over. Also Italians taking the moral high ground after that striker`s lazarus moment last week 😂

In all honesty I don't think you need to make the argument of "they do it too and so can we"... Nobody really cares, it's all about the final now and I believe that Kane can become England's biggest hero in the modern era, he really showed up in these knockout matches didn't he?

Morata coming deep showed that the classical defenders can't deal with it just like S.Ramos couldn't deal with Kai playing a false 9. This means that Kane will most likely dominate against Bonucci and Chiellini, believe.

Tactically speaking Barella, Verratti and Jorginho can't mark out Kane, unless Mancini changes something but I don't think he will because managers most of the time prefer not to change that much because that's what gave brought them to the big game, Luis Enrique adapted to Italy's style but Mancini didn't make any adjustments for Spain prior to the first whistle!

England won't be needing any favours in the final from the ref, for me it's a 50-50 game because of different factors but tactically speaking this matchup doesn't need to be hard for the front 3 of England, I'm sure that Immobile won't show up as much as Kane and that Kane will show that he's actually the best striker in Europe, Laporte did a great job of stopping Immobile. Now Spain is much more technically gifted than England so we'll see how will England do against the press of Italy, something tells me that English players won't make a serious blunder but just a few things need to be taken care of and the long balls to Immobile won't be much of a problem.

I think it's very probable that the match goes to extra time but if it finishes in 90 minutes it might just be because Kane brought it home.
