Anyway, if we have dodged signing a short centre back, then personally I am quite happy about that. So many people are up in arms in disappointment at not signing a centre back they'd almost certainly never heard of a year ago ... :-) 

I don't understand why people are angry for Barcelona...they are basically selling their club here. If they are after same players we are it means we are after good players. Best club wins.

Well this will certainly put pressure on TT to deliver something this season and he'll have his work cut out with the young defenders, with really only 1 of the 6 players he wanted coming in the door. I don't think Koulibaly was not #1 on the list of central defenders.  And hopefully Todd will realize he's been schooled by the veterans when it comes to transfer dealings and he won't make the same mistake in January if we buy anyone, and certainly not next summer.   And as for Barca, I wouldn't give them Dave or Alonso unless the money is up front in one payment.

However, one of the guests works for a too French side and 1 doesn't rate Kounde and called him overrated, and 2 thinks hell sign for us.
