Surely if Sevilla are happy with Chelsea’s offer and it was only “final bits” that were needed, it would be done.

Let's just accept our L on this one. He's going to Barcelona. If Chelsea and Seville agreed since Thursday and he and his Agent had previously also expressed satisfaction with his terms and its taking this long, it's only because the player is stalling ie waiting on Barca as he's been asked. 

The only thing worse here for us to do will be to walk away. If we do so Barca get him for less. Let's accept he is going to them but make sure they pay as much as they have to, to secure him. Not just what they want to because he has made it easier for them by saying he wants to go there and Seville have no choice as no other interested party. 

None of us know what is going for sure but understandably we are not confident Kounde will go to us after what happened with Raphinha. That being said most of the sources suggesting he will go to Barcelona seem to come from Romero who increasingly looks like a troll who is enjoying the attention.

I am pretty sure at this point that we will not let Azpi go to Barcelona unless we get Kounde, and a significantly bigger price than they have offered to date.

Madrid yes, Barca I disagree. There's plenty of players that would rather play for us or have a dream to play for Madrid so would never play for Barca, Eden Hazard is the first name that comes to mind. Sterling is another one, Barca supposedly wanted him but would have made him wait.

I find it pretty ironic that there has been 60 pages on this forum regarding this fking ridiculous soap opera which is the same number of forum pages as there are for club legend Dave.

Our physio will be at the club at 9am tomorrow morning.  If Kounde is there then medical and sign, if he is not standing outside at 9.15am the deal is off. Done.

Proof that people love a good soap opera. None more so than our own @Zeta

To add to the drama the report about us not sending contracts over to Sevilla is because we want assurances both Sevilla and especially Kounde will accept them as we don't want a repeat of Raphinha, where both Leeds and Raph had the contracts and he snubbed us to go to Barca.

A face saving exercise then.

Granted most of the reports are no doubt sh*t but I'm done with this clown. Clearly this player is not mentally strong enough for this level if he can't even have the balls to see the move he wants. If he wants to go to Barcelona then fking go there....when they stump up the money. Bordeaux and Sevilla. This is what we are faffing around over.

No guarantee this kid is even capable of holding down a first team place here.

Ridiculous and weak from Chelsea. This would never happen to Man City and they would completely blacklist the agent and never deal with them again.

Only because they're not good enough to be considered by Barca 

If Barca wanted Colwill or Ampadu they'd be gone.

The top players have a lot of suitors but we're not top of their lists.

Only wanting players who have no other options isn't a winning strategy.
