Jules Kounde

Featured Replies

Jules Kounde will sign a contract with Chelsea until 2027 having already agreed personal terms. #CFC have fought off competition from Barcelona, who haven't made a formal counter-offer since they couldn't match Chelsea's £55m fee. Only formalities remain between #CFC & Sevilla.

Is Jacobs about to make it 1-1 V Romero then? 😉

Taken from Matt Law article which has just posted:

Jules Kounde is set to become Chelsea’s third summer signing in a deal that could allow captain Cesar Azpilicueta to join Barcelona.

Chelsea look to have beaten off competition from Barca for Kounde. They have agreed to pay Sevilla in the region of £55 million and have offered the defender a five-year contract.

Having signed Raheem Sterling in a deal worth £50m and Kalidou Koulibaly for £34m, Chelsea’s new owners have now already committed £139m to new signings since taking over the club with more deals to follow.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta appeared to concede defeat in the race to sign Kounde by telling a supporter in Las Vegas that the 23-year-old will move to Chelsea.

The signing of Kounde will bring to an end a year-long pursuit of the player for Chelsea, who almost signed him last summer before Sevilla moved the goalposts on the transfer fee.

remember the times when they were too big for a sponsor? f**king despicable club

FC Barcelona, founded in 1899, did not have a main shirt sponsor until 2006 when the club came to an agreement with UNICEF.

Not sure that‘s a thing to mock them for. It‘s a pity they „had“ to do it but at least they tried to hold off as long as possible while all the other top teams sold their chest for top bidders long before.

Is there any chance a Mod can apply some sort of tune to this thread so it plays whenever i open it. This soap opera has been running so long it needs a theme tune. I think Dot Cotton is his fkign agent.

I think you are missing the point. They were deemed to be the blue bloods because they didn't need to resort to the commerciality of sponsorship. Now they are in debt up to the nipples and Laporte is rapidly approaching the point of selling off family members. Regardles of tsi they are still out there wantonly throwign creditors cash around while not paying their players.

Gazumping us for a player that they offer a deal to that they are not capable of maintaining is cheating, negligent and fraudulent.

I’m hoping just the two that we’ve signed and then Colwill will be the third and take Sarr’s place!

I think the Pavard rumours might have legs actually as right sided cover/competition

The sh*t from SPAIN pretended they could afford him

But Jules Kounde f**king ignored them

Joanne Laporta asked him "Will you play for free?"

Jules said "f**k off, I want Chelsea!"

HE HATES BARCA, HE HATES BARCA, HE HATES BARCA AND HE HATES BARCA!

Bravo sir

I would just add, Oh the Irony!

We needed to replace AC and Rudy. The filthy traitors.  And we have signed K2 and Kounde.

We also need to replace Dave and Sarr.  TT says he is not fond of Sarr apparently.

Thiago is in his last year surely? so we have to think about that too. Thiago is like a coach on the training ground and a bonus player atm.

We have some yoof available and we should use that, but signing another defender would be on the cards imho.

K.
