Probably but the second choices wouldn’t play all together regularly, rather they’d fill in if one of the first 3 was injured or needed a rest.

In theory aye, but if we were unlucky with injuries might be forced to play 2 or 3 of them.

Now don't get me wrong I like the idea and rate colwill and Trev highly, Ampadu I think still has potential too.

Apparently we have compelte agreement with Sevilla on terms and both sides are having their league teams go over the contracts.

Koundes agent has done the same and given given go ahead for the move. 

Kounde is waiting for permission from Sevilla to fly to London for the medical. Likely to fly out tomorrow.

Thiago is in his last year surely? so we have to think about that too. Thiago is like a coach on the training ground and a bonus player atm.

We have some yoof available and we should use that, but signing another defender would be on the cards imho.

I would wait on Thiago Silva's replacement. We got two CB's to replace Rudiger and Christensen and have Chalobah and Colwill as squad players, and James if we face an injury crisis. I'm more concerned about our backup wing backs, midfield and attack. James or Chilwell getting injured leaves us in a lot of trouble, just like last season.

Our midfield is a bit of mess, we have Kante, Kovacic, Gallagher and Loftus-Cheek all competing for the same spot and Jorginho as our only DM. We have a lot of options, but I am unsure on all of them. The transition from defence to attack is a problem with our midfield, they struggle to quickly move the ball into attacking positions, and when they do, they often get the final pass all wrong, maybe Gallagher will change this.

Our attack is still blunt, even with the addition of Sterling. Without the service, bringing Sterling in will be a waste of time. If nobody is going to pick out the passes when he is running into the spaces, then he offer very little. I do think all of the attackers can improve if we make things happen a bit quicker though, and it comes back to how quickly the midfield can transition from defence to attack.

Kimpembe and Gvardiol are left-sided centre-backs and are seen by TT- The Mighty Toosh - as potential replacements for Rüdiger. 

Presnel Kimpembe or Josko Gvardiol and. . .
K2 and Thiago and Kounde and Chalboah and . . .
one of either Ampadu and Colwill.

Smaller squad. 

DM De Jong would be a nice long-term replacement for Jorghi in midfield.  But that would mean helping out and giving money to. . .them.  We are already helping them out with Dave.

Kounde is collecting is airmiles and obviously needed the short hop to Portugal.

If i didn't think Azpi was completely finished I'd block him moving to Barca out of principle.

But signing Kounde and giving them another castoff alongside Christensen is too hilarious not to pass up.

If Barca sell the entire future of the club down the river and activate billions of pounds worth of levers just to end up with an Alonso - Christensen - Azpi backline the banter will never end.

I get where you are coming from mate but having let Cech go to Arsenal under Roman I hope the new owners are as classy.
