Funny to still read someposts clinging to the hope that he still comes to Chelsea. 

You only stall on a job offer if you're considering another otherwise you accept right away. Mostly within 24 to 48 hrs. 

If we sell any player, even a straight out of the academy player to barca for less than 30 mil then we are punking ourselves and deserve all the ridicule and even more that we will get. 

    Might sound like a broken record but I am not bothered at all if this falls through. Just like Raphinha, I believe Kounde is way too overrated and for me a 35M defender at most!

    Could not care less if he ends at Barcelona, like Raphinha did. That club is not a barometer for successful transfers, most of their deals for the past seasons are shocking.

    Gvardiol and Kimpembe are a hundred times better than Kounde. They might not be accessible at the moment, but others must be. Like Bastoni maybe? Left footed CB that is already better than Kounde.

    I really don't get the fuss around this player. And he is short, too. I hope Barcelona gazump this and pay over the odds for him and we end up with a better defender.

    I like Gvardiol but I just don't see how we can get him. RB Leipzig have no reason to sell and if he improves again this season, he will know that he will have almost every club in Europe after him.

    Got more pages than Azpi and he's been with us for almost a decade.

     

    We need another defender if Tuchel REALLY wants to stick with the back 3, i dont trust Chalobah or Colwill yet. The best option for me is that Azpilicueta stays this season and we go for another attacker.

    Yeah multiple articles state RBL would only sell for an astronomical amount.

    We have been a comedy of errors in this situation for over a year now. We messed Sevilla about last season and agreed to their price far too late in the transfer window. Then the new owner comes in a season later and we scrap the plans to sign Kounde because we rated De Ligt, Koulibaly and bizarrely, Ake ahead of him. Now that I think about it, it's not surprising he would pick Barcelona over us. Forget about the fact that Barcelona are a bigger club, we openly rejected Kounde only to come crawling back when we missed out on our preferred targets.

    It is a win win for Chelsea. IF we get the lad, all well and good, and if we don't get the lad we have made that silly club pay lots of money that they do not have and which will ultimately lead to their financial demise. Bankrupt those bitches.

    I have to admit I would really love seeing Barca collapse. Despite them screwing us in 09 their tiki taka football was just amazing to watch but now they're just a bunch of cheaters

    That would be a lot more comforting if Pulisic and Werner didn't make Raphina look like Ronaldinho.

    Hard to take pride in Barca sabotaging their future when taking our targets leaves us stuck with such dross.

    Thursday, Friday and Saturday night Chelsea wait for green light, Chelsea are not happy with how the deal is going, Sevilla insist the negotiation is ONLY with Chelsea but Barca are preparing an official proposal, Kounde’s agents are still talking to both clubs. (@FabrizioRomano)
