We have to give him a fair chance of fighting for a 1st team spot next season.

It would be criminal not to.

New owners may look to cash in on him and Broja. Between them there is likely 70mill back.

Come on, I was trying to cheer myself up with some positive thoughts for Chelsea and you killed it😂

Or they could look at keeping them given we already have them and their wages will be relatively low as opposed to £150m transfer fees and £500k+ Weekly wages on getting players in

Who is saying new owners would authorize such deals? They may shop in the free transfer bin.

Past 20 years have been magic. We have seen Zola, Drogba, Lampard and Silva plus more play for our team. Phenomenal players and  ambassadors for our club.

Munich 2012, Porto 2021, 5 titles and many great matches. Been an amazing ride.

And we are not done yet pal

So? Free transfers aren´t cheap either. Just because Mbappe doesn´t cost a fee, we still have to pay his massivs wages.😎

And Enrique De Lucas too!

Of course if you are lucky and do a good job you can also get a real gem for free too

Exactly. Seems to be more and more a free market so players get a larger slice. I mean Mbappe is leaving for free that is a cracking signing for Real.

Anyone else think he should be allowed to play against us in the FA Cup Semi and pit himself against our current midfield, be a good indicator of his development this season!

Just getting started!

We've a whole academy full of talent, plus now we have the winning mentality.

Weve seen his talents all season long, especially every time he bosses man city. As much as it would be nice no way can we risk him being a determining factor in knocking us out. At the end of the day we support Chelsea, and all i care about is us going through.

It's risky. If he made a mistake which resulted in us scoring he'll get accused of all sorts. He's young so best kept out of that kind of flak.

This is the snake situation all over again

  • 2 weeks later...

Why o' WHY don't we have a young, very good promising LB that can replace Alonso?

That is going to solve most of our defensive problems when Chilwell gets injured and we manage to keep hold of Rudiger.

But I was really impressed with his performance against Arsenal.

Think it’s pretty obvious that if Gallagher and indeed Broja are integrated into the squad then there will be departures.

I suspect that irrespective Berkley would be gone and because of contracts expiring and age both Jorginho and Kante will be sold.

That unfortunately makes far more sense financially because both will have value exceeding their amortised value ( Jorginho is valued in the accounts at circa £10 million and Kante circa £4 million ) How much would we get for them ? Jorginho £20million Kante £30 million ish and Bekley £10 million .

We could not even loan Ross out, nevermind sell him.
