Mount and Gallagher are not going to fit together IMO.  Alot of industry, not enough creativity.

Mount is an inside forward, Gallahger is a box to box midfielder I don't them replacing one another.

Besides have Gallagher on the bench and he might be asking for a move come December.

I agree if we bench Gallagher, he probably will ask for a move by Dec.

If Tuchel keep his 343, then Gallagher probably will play as one of the double pivot. I think he will be fine there but you probably won't see the full Gallagher

I agree on that and it makes getting the right sitting midfielder important.

I don't think gametime will be a problem even if he doesn't start every game.

Next season is going to make the restart period look like the a heavenly schedule full of rest. If we make it to the semis of all three competitions we'll be lucky to get a midweek off all season.

Interst in both Connor and Broja is said to be quite high from a number of PL clubs including Newcastle in both cases.

Several are monitoring their situations hoping to snap them up later in the window.

I think they should fit like a glove, Mount is one of our most creative players if we look at his assists and Gallagher scored 8 PL goals for Palace last season. Gallagher in a lesser team managed to score more goals in comparison to any of our attackers bare Mount and Lukaku.

Midfield 3 they can both play. Mount as more of an AM or "8" if you will. Gallgaher box to box. Then someone else sitting deeper. (Rice?)

That would be the dream. Domestic core of those 3 in the middle of the pitch would look cool and all of them are young.

Surely we are not crazy enough to entertain any offers.

Sources are saying that Tuchel is waiting for FIFA to release Colwill and Gallagher's player ratings before deciding if they're good enough for Chelsea as he isn't fully sold unless the EA ratings managers are sold on the player.

That would make sense.

We all want to play fifa next year with a competitve team.

I would like to revive this Topic, for the simple reason that I really believe that Conor will become a First team regular at Chelsea and as he considers himself to be a box to box midfielder, may even go on to become the next Frank Lampard. I started to take notice of him at Palace last season, where at times, he was head and shoulders the Best player on the pitch, even against City, Arsenal (not difficult) and Spurs (even easier). The kid has the swagger, control, pace and brain to reach the very top. As Lee Bowyer commented "His work-rate is unreal, he puts his foot in for tackles and he can also see a pass".  Now, where do we fit him in?  for me would probably replace Jorghinho, he can play most roles in Central Midfield, but looks like a proper number 10. The article below, looks at Conor in great detail and may help you make up your mind 😉For me it will probably be like having another brand new £50million midfielder.

Must check my eyesight, I thought that first link was called Syphilis Sport.

At least one we're apparently integrating into the squad! Assuming he impresses in the pre-seasong...

Any impressions on how he did last night in the friendly? Just one pass in the highlights, I think, but I thought it was a great pass into space for Havertz to …. miss a great chance. If that’s a taster of what’s to come, we’ve got some youngster coming back that can increase our creativity in midfield.

I thought he was our best player in the first half, some great touches and that piece of play to Havertz was class. Definitely offers us something different I think he will end up being a big player for us.

Virtually night and day difference from a year ago when he played in the pivot.

Gallagher is going to be another example of the fact that if you got the right attitude, determination and obviously a certain quality you will make it here even if you are young. He'll play a lot of games for us this season and I wish the likes of Broja and Colwill would have learned a bit from his example instead of pushing for a permanent move at 19 or 20.

Hopefully he forget about the PK when he wakes up tomorrow morning, it's not like it's a FA cup final or anything. I'm sure he will learn from it, looked like a humble and determined guy. He genuinely tried something but technique failed, it's like not he was laughing and mucking around then missed it.
