Not up to  Chelsea as they say rules are rules.

They've done it in the past... Derby County when they had Fik and Mount but I think that was more of a courtesy to Frank than anything else

You are getting your competitions mixed up.

Playing against your parent club in the FAC has never been allowed. Mount and Tomori played against us in the Carabo ( League ) Cup which is allowable if the parent club agrees

Worked out to be fair, as I recall Tomori scored an own goal after about 10 minutes.

I thought ultimately it is up to the FA and it would be set of standard rules, but I guess there could be different limitations based on competition.

The FA cup covers all leagues from the PL , EFL, Southern League etc etc he rules for that competition are set and agreed by all clubs and under the control of the FA

The CC cup is actually run by the  EFL and the Pl clubs agree to decisions made by the EFL management committee

From the number of complementary tickets , to travel arrangements, distribution of gate receipts the rules are different . Whilst the rules of the game are the same the administration rules differ significantly and as we know the rules governing loan players are chalk and cheese

Must be in the running for the young player of the season. But it will probably go to TAA, Foden or Saka (or possibly Sterling, who seems to be eligible every single year). Reece James must also be in the frame, despite being out for about 3 months.

My money is on Saka as he's played more and scored more. Sterling is 27 now lol

.........in a better Arsenal team.

Gallagher has fuelled the Palace attack through the season.

But you are still probably right, Saka will get it just because he's at Arse, that's how these things go, they will have more fans online voting, and more closet fans on the panel.

If we dont have him in our first team squad next season then we might as well close the academy.

He will be here that I can be sure but how we are going to use him is the big question.

That is my worry. I don’t see where he fits in a mid-2. Same applies to Broja to some extent.

My feeling is we will play 532/5212 more next season which mean we will have spot for Borja n Gallagher

Gallagher had so much freedom at Palace in a midfield three. Our midfielders have to be disciplined positionally in a midfield 2.

It's why I am hoping we see a back 4 more often than a 5, especially if Tchouameni comes in.

Tchouameni will be in a 3 offering more freedom to Henderson, Jones, Thiago and Co.

I don't like Gallagher in a 2. I want him to have more freedom to go forward

Kante has lots of opportunity to go forward in a 2. He's just rubbish with it. But Gallagher has the same strength in winning the ball back and untold amount of energy.

Whether it's a 2 or a 3 in midfield, I expect Gallagher to be a starter for us for a lot of next season.

Personally I'd love to see a back 4 and then a midfield 3 of Rice (or more achievable DM) Gallagher and Mount. Behind a revamped forward line with Havertz

It would be Matt Law's wet dream if we had a midfield three of Rice, Gallagher, and Mount.

Some may not agree, but I still rate Kovacic a lot higher that Gallagher. I think Gallagher has a better eye for goal, but I think outside of that, Kovacic is a better footballer than him in all areas. If we switch to a 3 man midfield next season, I would still start with Kovacic. It would be interesting watching them compete with each other.

Right now? Without question, kova is the better player however they are very different. I am not sure they are competing for the same spot. Gallagher prefer to get the ball higher whereas kova is not comfortable playing higher.

We can't rely on Kovacic and Kante for next season, way to injury prone. Ideally we buy a DM/CM and bring back Gallagher for next season. No more Jorginho and RLC in our CM together.
