A month prior they outplayed Liverpool and a month after they won at The Ethiad.

They weren't in disarray atall at that point, infact we were if either team.

That was then, this is now and now everyone is tipping Spurs to finish above us and they are a whole lot better than they were last season.

Have it your way - start Jorgi and then sit back and see what happens

Let's be honest here, Conte is playing for the counter-attack regardless so if we allow Son or Kulusevski to find themselves in a 1v1 against anyone it's most likely a goal for Spurs and that would mean that Conte outsmarted Tuchel first and foremost. Though a part of me wishes that somehow Jorginho doesn't start just so that I can quote this later on...

Apart from last season they've been tipped to finish above us every season for aslong as I can remember.

Arsenal and Spurs will both feel the impact of the congested fixture list. 

If anything, we are more prepared given last seasons dilemma with club world cup and injuries.

There's no doubt Conte has done a fabulous job at Spurs so far. We laud TT for turning around 9th and 5 points to reach the top four. Last season Spurs were 17 points behind us with 12 games to go, the way they finished is impressive. We can still beat them but tomorrow's game will be no gimme.

Last season nibs many fans and TV pundits were saying TT had built a title challenging squad and we're tipping Chelsea to win the EPL. Let's pray those Tottenham predictions turn out the same. At least for the next 100 years.

I know there is little to no chance it happens but please TT start Connor as one of the front 3. 

Jorginho will start since Kova cant play. Its not just Jorgi in isolation as you guys were saying earlier its how he fits into the overall machine. Jorginho and Kova are a better machine than Jorgi and Kante (IMHO) but Jorginho and kante won the cl even if that distant memory is fading badly

I don't get the 'it seems' part. I was under the impression it was the manager who decides what formation he wants to use. If we lose Gallagher I'm going to be very unhappy not to mention confused about Tuchel's approach.

Later in that report he says he hasn't finished thinking about the formation.

I feel sorry for Gallagher, but Tuchel has a point, where does he fit?

In that midfield, I rate Kovacic and Kante higher than Gallagher right now. Even if we switch to a 3 man midfield, it's still going to be Jorginho playing DM, Kante and Kovacic CM and Mount and Havertz ACM. It's hard to fit him in any formation we play right now because of the numbers we have.

If he's happy to wait, Gallagher will get a lot of minutes this season due to Kante and Kovacic being so injury prone

He'll have plenty of games when the CL kicks off.

I don't think it's sunk in for many just how hectic this season will be, we will need everyone.

Yeah after September 3rd the season gets kind of overwhelming.

Breaking into a team is always hard. If Tuchel wants to play 433, he basically has to rework the fundamentals of how the back 4 and midfield would play because Conor is a player that thrives without positional discipline

I'm also yet to be convinced. He has a lot of drive and energy, but he's not the cleanest technically and doesn't have seem any outstanding physical characteristics. I think he's going to give the ball away quite a lot playing as one of our two midfielders...
