Let's be honest. If his name was Bakayoko, there would be compilations being made of that performance. Every pass failed, 2 stupid yellows, generally clueless.

Gallagher shouldn't of been deployed as last man, mind you better than putting Jorgi there, i blame TT entirely, in fact i'm blaming him for everything, including Energy price hikes.....

Has got to learn to be more disciplined, needed to be careful after that 1st yellow.

Jorginho deserves a knighthood.

He's surrounded by clowns and professional hospital patients.

Basically playing in a midfield 1 every other game because no one else can stay fit or keep themselves on the pitch.

awful 2 games from him tbh. Not technically good enough to play as deep as he is. Passing is all over the place, and both those yellows were so rash. Hopefully ease him in now Kovacic is back.

I like his directness and his energy. Unfortunately he's not yet up to scratch apart from that.

It’s early days but he doesn’t look ready to start for us. It’s all well being a player at palace but at a club like Chelsea it’s a different ball game entirely.

i don't understand why we don't try Gilmour who has actually impressed in difficult games for us before

Poor corner from Cucurella but Conor has got to learn from this and be a lot smarter.

The first yellow card was totally unnecessary and then you’re one bad foul away from a red card.

It’s a big step up from Palace, you’re under scrutiny here for the whole 90 mins.

His energy and competitive nature can either be his downfall or his rise at Chelsea.

He needs to choose his moments wisely.

Hopefully he’ll come back from this.

One of those players that makes me tense up when I watch him. I just feared something bad was going to happen every time he got involved. It was the same against Leeds.

Working hard and being aggressive are good traits to have, as long as it's controlled. There was no control from Gallagher, he was just throwing himself all over the place like a kid trying to impress everybody. There is no way he is cut out for CM, you need so much more discipline to play there, but I don't see where else he even fits in this team. Higher up the pitch requires more control and for players to think and pick out a pass, everything about Gallaghers game seems reactionary and played at 100mph. That kind of thing will suit a mid table team, but not a team chasing titles, you need more football intelligence at this level.

Tuchel really rates him, so I think he's going to keep getting chances. And I somehow hope he does because I can't imagine how sh*t he feels right now.

I've only seen him being impressive once, being that Liverpool game. I think he is lightweight and is not the answer. The answer was probably Bissouma but we were faffing around wih Barcelona at the time
