Chelsea v Burnley (PL) Sat 6th Nov 2021 15:00 GMT

Featured Replies

This is a game the forwards really need to turn up, we cant rely on the wingbacks all season. I suspect Burnley will play a low block and pay particular attention to our wingbacks inside runs.

With the wingback's scoring regularly it has added a new dimension to our attack. However, we still need more goals from our forwards.

Ziyech and CHO look like they are slowly reaching higher performance levels especially Callum who for the first time in a while looks like how he did in the 18/19 season where he can take on the world.

This would be a good game for Kai to get some goals and go into the break with some confidence. Add in a now fit Pulisic who will be looking to carry on from where he left off with a goal on opening day. It looks like the quality to get the 3 points should be there.

                          Mendy

     Azpilicueta Christensen Rudiger

James Jorginho Loftus-Cheek Chillwell

               Ziyech       Hudson-Odoi

                          Havertz

Give Puli 25-30mins and watch him do his magic

Would be on RLC to produce as well as Ziyech and CHO. I wonder if Kante would be a better partner in this game for RLC than Jorgi.

If you ask me this is the most important game of the season so far. With Liverpool and City having tough away games this is a must win for us. Games like this can show whether we are title material or not.

                            Mendy

        Azpi       Christensen   Rudiger

   James     Jorginho    Kante     Chilwell

                      Ziyech      CHO

                           Havertz

Mason is back but I don't expect him to start. Marcos out with an ankle injury.

3-0 us.

Aye and the majority of times we are given a chance to do so we mess it up.

Last week we were not even thinking there was a chance as City and Pool had games they were very much expected to win.

I have a feeling our WBs will keep on scoring in this system..

And they are not scoring once in a while worldies.. They are getting so good at finishing which will make mids or forwardsfrom any team jealous..

As TT says they are both midfielders.. I can see Chilly or Jamesor both scoring again this weekend.

I don't see Man City dropping points against an out of form Man U side.  It would be great if they do but Liverpool just spanked them 5-0 not too long ago.   City should be good enough to win and motivated by this being a derby match and by their defeat last week.   Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if City completely blew them out.

That said Liverpool might have a tough time against West Ham and could drop points there.

It's a derby. You never know what could happen. Ole has beaten them a few times. And don't forget United have Ronaldo. I can see them getting at least a point.

See how many of us opt to go with James or Chilwell as first scorer once @Zeta gets the next prediction thread up lol.

by law of averages its chilly next.

I hope you are right, I'd love to see Man City drop points 2 weeks in a row.

I just think a Man City 4 - Man U 0 result is more likely than Man City dropping points again.

Same feeling here.. And Ole have ditched the "United" way after that spanking from Pools.. They can hurt CITY on the counter.

Expect burnley to park the bus and frustrate us. They are good on aerial balls so we need to be careful.

christensen silva rudiger

james kante jorginho chillwell

Ah, good old Ceefax. Page 300 for sport?

A couple of beers in the pub before the game and a few afterwards.

Boyne. Yeah. Last Ceefax mention from me on this thread today.

Read all about it: Ceefax would break the latest sporting news throughout the day

Feeling pretty confident if Mount and Pullisic will play a part in this game. Burnely will park the bus, but playing a fasle 9 will actually help breaking down that bus, and having 2 in form wing back will go a long way to beat them.

Great opportunity to create a buffer between us and Man City/Liverpool with the break around the corner and them playing tougher opponents this weekend.

Come on Chels!

The only important thing is to win this and focus on ourselves. What others do mustn't distract us.

Especially since City are battering United.

ROSS BARKLEY!!!

The Scouse Zidane starts!

So basically on our wingbacks to scorer until we get Ziyech, Pulisic and RLC on.

Very defensive side, looks 3-5-2 with Ross in behind the front 2.
