The team today

No Werner or Havertz on the bench, only Ziyech and Lukaku as options up front.

Ridiculous that Rom is not starting in this game, I don't believe Pulisic offers more up there as a False 9. I'm assuming we will just keep tapping it around the box forever.

Why on earth is Lukaku not starting. We are absolutely toothless up front and getting tired of picking the wrong team. He needs to play. He needs football. You don’t get match fitness sitting on the bench. Selection mistake to me.

This screams 25 shots, 7 on target, maybe one goal. Those front three are not clinical. 

Hah Villa are at Full strength basically and have a full bench. How after 8 days ago not having the players to play Burnely WTF is that!

Fully rested Villa v tired us with a very toothless attack.

Hard to see anything else than a loss in my view.

 

Let's have some positivity. We have a good side. Attack is a question mark but otherwise okay.

Chelsea ...the giving club at Christmas....sh*te line up, given we definitely need 3 points today given the other results by our rivals...and I don't mean City.

Lets hope Pulisic is better this time around, Mings always has a mistake in him.

We finally  have a good midfield for the first time in a month ? So that should help...

That's a lot better than I was expecting.

Apart from Alonso and Mount (for Chilwell and Ziyech) that's the team that battered Juve.

The best we can hope for today is that the defence don't let a goal in, because we have no chance of scoring, but we do have the best chance of getting the best stats of passing the ball around the 18 yard box and going nowhere.

Lukaku has barely played and won’t be fit at all. Better as an option off the bench. 

Assuming they are all actually fit, and with the obvious exception of Pulisic, that XI actually looks pretty good. Not entirely sure where the goals are coming from mind...

Tuchel has just said he’s not fit enough to start although I’d have happily seen Vale given another chance upfront after the last game. 

Early goal - first twenty mins. Then we need another two after that as one is never enough and two is uncomfortable.

Think he would have been a better option than Pulisic
