So Lukaku is a bit of a Bawbag...

Featured Replies

Crazy thing is there are parallels between the Lukaku and the Mbappe situation, and PSG might need to resolve the situation before we can do the same for Lukaku. I am not sure they would sanction a move Vlahovic which is time sensitive on Juve’s side for accounting purposes unless they sell Mbappé. Juve also need the money from the Vlahovic sale to buy Lukaku.
The Saudi’s are willing to buy those players for bigger fees than their European counterparts and pay them ridiculous sums of money but they both don’t want to move there.
I say let both players sit out this year in the reserves, though I am not sure the French public will take kindly to him getting banished to the reserves.

We could solve each others situation by just swapping the players. No fees. Just a straight swap.

Sounds legit, one moody striker for the other

We should bid for Mbappe, at least just make Real feels a little nervous and our city rivals worried and grumpy.

Lukaku awould love that. Not sure PSG, Mbappe, Real or Chelsea would though.

PSG want big money.

Mbappe wants Real.

Real want Mbappe for free.

We want £40m for Donkey.

So realistically the only way he is coming here is on a short term deal which would allow Mbappe to still go to Real after 1 year - for a very low fee/free.

I guess the questions are, do Chelsea value a single season of Mbappe at £40m (i.e the fee we want for Lukaku, and would PSG accept a donkey in exchange for a thoroughbred? I would imagine that the answer to both is no, meaning no swap deal. 😩

Look it was this or fire him directly in to the sun. I’m all out of ideas after that.

They also are reported to have had a bid accepted at the same time Inters was (juve 37.5mill euros plus 2.5mill add ons, Inters was 35mill plus 5mill).

Obviously Rom torpedoed the Inter deal, but Juves offer was contingent on selling Vlahovic and PSG have enough troubles on their hands with Mbappe.

Maybe we get lucky and we get him out at the end of the window.

I don't know what's more staggering, his sheer lack of self awareness or the fact people actually go out of their way to defend him.

Manboy at it again. Sort of sad to see this...well maybe he becomes a man in Saudi Arabia.

I wouldn't care, when we first signed him (he was 18 I believe) and he seemed such a nice gentle soul, a boy who was so happy to be at a club where his idol was playing at. He was actually in tears about the whole transfer.

To see what he really is now is kind of staggering. I had high hopes for him a long time ago when we first signed him, and I kind of felt that we sacrificed a prospect for a finished article in Torres. Strange how things turn out. Was he always like this? Or did his ego just get too big at one point? I started to notice his c*ntish ways at United.

His poor attitude and behaviour makes him practically unsellable to European clubs ... I really hope he winds his neck in and takes the Saudi offer.

Our American owners must be very frustrated that they can't just accept the offer and Lukaku has no choice but to go. The transfer system is totally different to how players are "traded" as commodities in US sports.

I can only hope his ego is too big to accept the fact he's going to be wasting his "prime" years in the reserves and that eventually makes him wind his neck in as you say.

Nobody in their right mind is going to buy this guy, no top club anyway.

I'm personally convinced his whole Chelsea fandom was PR, which worked if it was as we signed him twice when his signing made no sense.

He had a chance to be part of a probable title winning team with Mourinho as manager and Drogs one of his fellow strikers, if he really did grow up a Chelsea fan in the Mou 1.0 era who idolised Drogba his heart would have totally took over in that circumstance.

Regarding his attitude it's always been there, the way he left (via weeks of gobbing off to the media) and firing shots at AVB two of the biggest examples off the top off my head.

Apparently so far Juve are only willing to take him on loan...

Two options for me :

1. Straight sale

2. A loan fee that covers the year's amortisation and Juve pay 100% of his wages, and there is an obligation to buy (not an option) at the end of it ; sum of loan fee + final fee is higher than the straight sale price in option 1.

Romelu has told some Inter fans, in Italian, that he does not expect the Juve move to go through.

Inter out, Saudis out, now Juve out?

Personal trainer over at Kingsmeadow it is!

Cannot say I am surprised he is happy with being paid a fortune to sit on his behind.

Well he can be forced to go to Saudi if he doesnt want to. A contract is a contract and its up to Chelsea to see how best to utilise him whilst hes on contract. The best solution will be a low fee loan with his wages paid by whichever club takes him on or he stays in Chelsea.

The total opposite.

Lukaku's whole gimmic is that he feels he's a star untouchable, his ego won't allow such a role in his supposed prime.

I bet anything I have the reason he turned on Inter is because Dzeko was played infront of him.

I think that he still has to agree personal terms if we try to change his contract terms by loaning him out.

Make him train with the kids for the next 5 months. If he wants to play for  Belgium again he’ll move anywhere that will have him in January window.  Would take an owner with authority to do that though not this lot.

He has not options now but to sit on his behind and collect his money, nobody wants him, he pu$$Ed off his 2 main suitors.
