I know why people say better we get the expensive player off our books than have an unhappy player polluting the rest of the squad, but sometimes you need to take short term pain for a long term benefit. Make an example of the loaf and other players and clubs will take note. Send him to the reserve team as punishment for not returning to the club when due as contractual breach. Half a season without games and his career at his age is all but buried. That would be my choice (i can only dream lol) i totally agree with Kev56 he is an utter disgrace and i think we should make an example of him.

July 13, 20233 yr Really hoping for a breakthrough tomorrow on this (pipe dream). Just don’t want to spend another weekend wondering how this dick head is still a Chelsea player.
July 13, 20233 yr Apparently Inter are going to get 50mill euros for Onana, having got 18mill euros for Brozovic. Yet they are making plans on other players and expecting us to take 30mill euros for Rom...

July 14, 20233 yr I hope we remain firm with Lukaku valuation. No way should we be signing him for just under £100m then selling him within 2 years for more than half we bought him for when he still is very much capable of scoring a lot of goals in Serie A. In fact if he stays fit, you wouldn't put it past him being amongst the top scorers in the league, so if they value him that much, they should be paying more. I know a lot of people are happy with Pulisic sale, but again, we have a sold a player for a relatively small fee for someone who is still is fairly young and the fee we paid for him. Lukaku going for £30m or so is a complete piss take. I hope the board hold out for at least £40m. Lukaku already, apparently has said he is willing to take a pay cut to go, so if he is, then Inter should pay more for him. Simple. They also are going to get a lot of money for Onana and Brozovic has also moved there (even though sale has been currently blocked) , so pay up. Will be exciting to see how the team operates next season. Will probably be the youngest Chelsea team/squad we have seen for a long while. Will have a very similar look to Arsenal last season in terms of age of squad, however ours may be even younger looking at things. The attack in particular will be exciting to see. A lot of youthfulness, pace and flair.

I actually thought we've got very good deals so far selling players this window, probably selling players for more than they're worth. When you see clubs like Utd selling Elanga for pennies and we've managed to shift Kai after 3 very bang average seasons for 70M. Buying is a bit different, we've made some good deals since Winstanley and Stewart such as Nkunku, Badiashile, Madueke, Gusto etc. that all seem generally market value or lower for their skills. We're only paying the crazy fees now for players we believe are worth it like Enzo. I'm glad we haven't jumped straight in with Caicedo and looks like we're trying to get a good deal instead of giving in to Bloom's demands.
July 14, 20233 yr Just want him gone. If he returns he would spoil the season with his bare presence. Worst signing since Robert Fleck.
July 14, 20233 yr We have rejected Inters offer, and reiterated the price is 40mill, a price a Saudi side has agree to already and another unnamed club is a lot closer to than Inter. Relationship with Inter has soured, we expect them to put the Onana cash to meet our Lukaku price but they are looking to use some of it elsewhere and get Rom on the cheap.
July 14, 20233 yr The unnamed club is Juventus. They have today offered us 37.5mill euros fixed fee and 2.5mill add ones. Al Hilal have offered 40mill pounds straight cash.

He can try to strike and would be even better . fine his backside off and keep him away from our kids.. no football for a few months and even inter wont take on loan .. we should call his bluff with Euros around or sue him for breach of contract and recover. 15 hours ago, axman2526 said: We have rejected Inters offer, and reiterated the price is 40mill, a price a Saudi side has agree to already and another unnamed club is a lot closer to than Inter. July 15, 20233 yr After all that crying over only wanting Inter, it would really be too hilarious if he now chooses Juve in a straight choice between the two.
July 15, 20233 yr The problem is Juventus will only pay us when they sell Vlahovic, who is being linked to PSG,so we could still get screwed over.
July 15, 20233 yr What would be lovely is Lukaku ends up in Saudi Arabia. Big pay, big boychild equals to perfect marriage. Absolute bellend this Belgian.

July 15, 20233 yr With all the lowball offers, Inter have hardly showed that they value Lukaku in all these negotiations so far ... can't really blame him for looking elsewhere LOL.
July 15, 20233 yr I was hoping we would just swap him for onana? seeing as how he has behaved make him train on his own don’t register him for anything and ruin his career. I HATE this bloke with a passion morally corrupt twat
July 15, 20233 yr Glad to see the back of Inter. Now we just need Juve to drop out too and leave Lukaku with AL Hilal his only option. I hope we tell Juve they have to match the 40mill pounds offer and to go away.
