It only takes a little while until someone starts arguing, with zero basis whatsoever, that 2 went over 1's back in getting a player. Lukaku is just one example as well. Sterling, Aubameyang, Zakaria, Cucurella, Koulibaly, all have looked to be awful. @Munkworthare you seeing this?!?

IMO the blame lies on Tuchel as he had the final say. He is not wrong though, if that team want to take the next step we need a goalgetter. His thinking and pep's thinking last season was actually very similar. In fact our situation was actually very similar.
July 12, 20233 yr Some folks think i have gone over the top with my opinion of this c**t, i can honestly say i hate this arsehole, without doubt the biggest c**t ever to be associated with Chelsea Football Club. f**k him. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12290211/Romelu-Lukaku-WONT-turn-Chelsea-training-tries-help-Inter-cut-34m-price-tag.html
July 12, 20233 yr I don't understand how anybody can say that Lukaku type player doesn't not fit possession based football after Haaland, an even more direct st, scored 30+goals and won treble with City.

A combination of Haaland actually scoring enough goals to make up for what he takes out and Pep adapting his system to that box midfield so they can still control games inspite of Haaland not being too involved in the build up.

We don’t want him to come back anyway. He can stay in Milan long enough for us to sack him.
July 12, 20233 yr Karma will catch up with him at one point. Sounds a pretty shallow person the more you read. If he doesn’t come to pre-season, we can stop paying him.

Manager adapting to their player 😱😱

Only way Lukaku would have behaved at Chelsea is if we treated him like and gave him the type of exceptions we gave Hazard and I don't think even his biggest acolyte would say he warrants that (well 2nd biggest as he's obviously his own biggest).
July 13, 20233 yr He needs to be sent out to the footballing Siberia to send a message that Chelsea football club will not tolerate this behaviour from any players current and future. If he refuses then Article 17 for club(inter) and player Edited July 13, 20233 yr by smileysmiles
July 13, 20233 yr If Inter submitting bids, they are clearly being encouraged to bid by Chelsea. €30m would mean a huge loss which the club are seemingly prepared to lose. His book value is around £66m isn’t it?

I really hope we don't cave and accept a sh*tty bid
July 13, 20233 yr We should put a bid in for their star player whoever that currently is, lets say £1m and a box of quavers

I guess Chelsea have been adjudged to be the foolish club of transfers. The one where you get their players for less than their worth but ensure to fleece them for every single penny you can when selling to them. Very terrible reputation to have gained but we need to end it sharpish. I know why people say better we get the expensive player off our books than have an unhappy player polluting the rest of the squad, but sometimes you need to take short term pain for a long term benefit. Make an example of the loaf and other players and clubs will take note. Send him to the reserve team as punishment for not returning to the club when due as contractual breach. Half a season without games and his career at his age is all but buried.
July 13, 20233 yr Half a season of not doing much ...can you imagine his size , maybe challenge Tyson Fury
