He's crazy bastard most people would love to have in their team and hate playing against. He's become a different player under Tuchel. Love the way he winds up the opposition whilst at the same time keeping his own team focussed and pumped. Rudiger is a better version of David Luiz, same antics & heart but a much better defender.

I wish directors it happened in the Cup Final would stop panning the camera into the crowd it's really annoying. Mind you some bloke was wearing what looked like a Chelsea top you see on stalls on Oxford Street it looked nothing like the Chelsea badge it looked like the Griffin from the Midland Bank ads from the 70's/80's.

I didn't recognise Kenedy for some bizarre moment thought Pedro had dropped in for the photo-shoot and then saw the tattoos, thought perhaps Anjorin then no and looked it up, Kenedy it is.

Why did it take so long for VAR  and the head referee to make the call on the red card at the end of the game.At the time it was only a one goal game and it seemed pretty obvious it was a red card. They allowed Palmerias to play with 11 men while trying to tie the game. Imagine if they scored to tie the game. You can't get that time back or reviews the goal.

Back in my day, you could achieve the same effect for free by passing out at a party after a few too many snakebites.

It's funny how some players are instinctively great captain material and others grow into it. His first season as captain I remember he got fair criticism at not putting his face or voice out there in big game moments enough. 

He seemed to have heard and taken on board and I think since the end of that first season he he improved and has just grown into the role that he is really a positive on the pitch even when sometimes the game is passing him by.

Had to record the game because I was at the Wales-Scotland 6Nations game. Avoided hearing the score till I got home. The recording ran out out 118mins, with us leading 2-1. Was away for weekend with the Mrs but got back to our hotel in time to watch game on CH4. Having done an 8 mile coastal walk, was feeling a little tired and our uninspiring first half display meant I promptly nodded off mid-way through the first half!

Woke at HT and thankfully we improved, even though it was still largely painful viewing.  Great to win and lift the trophy and Azpi, more than anyone deserves it. He has been a credit to CFC and if this turns out to be his last season, he can be very proud of what he has achieved and won in his 10 years.

The rest was very much a case of same old, same old. Possession based football with little end product is pointless and very dull. We were reminded of Lukaku's main (only?) strength. Put the ball in the right area and he will deliver. We can be thankful that CHO managed it on the one occasion but other than that, he was woeful. Despite our midfield possession, we have pretty much Zero goal threat from midfield and that HAS to change next season. And Haverts stepped up to convert a great penalty in a high pressure situation but again, did nowhere near enough for the rest of the game for a player who is supposedly a generational talent.

Still, we won and that's what matters at the end of the day but TT has plenty of work on his hands if we are to close that gap on City next season.

Probably mad he could not help the opposition win like he did for becks the year before. Quality midfielder that Craig was.

Apologies if already posted but Brazilian clubs which are rivals of Palmeiras changed their colours in advance of the game.

Saw a video on twitter from Rio of people celebrating not our win but Palmeiras' loss.

Marcus B, James, Chalobah, Chilwell, RLC, Barkley, Mount, CHO. Probably missed someone or other as well 

Maybe he missed that CHO and Mount started too, and likely James and Chilwell would have started too had they been able too
