City vs half this league is no better, likewise with us under Jose 1.0.

This is much worse. Montpellier could barely get 30 yards out from their own goal. They gave away 2 penalties, an own goal and relied on their keeper to stop it being 5-0. Teams can take a beating by the likes of City, but at least they get out of their own half.

PSG were barely even trying.

I haven't seen Mbappe celebrate one of the goals, realises Messi is still the man, he's officially the best passer of a ball i've ever seen as well

Mbappe already has the ego of Ronaldo I think, he fully stopped playing when the ball didn't go his way while Messi was still trying...

What’s your take on the problems at United? Is it the owners or the manager?

For me, I have mixed feelings. The owners seem useless but have spent money and backed them with time and money for players.

Thay said, hardly any of the managers they’ve had since Fergie have been able to get a tune out the players. We looked awful under Frank but Tuchel was able to turn it around. I dare say that Conte would have sorted them out. They made a mistake in not getting him.

Conte has too many demands for the owners. He would have walked after one season.

It's just the club as a whole really. The Glazers are sh*t, but the fanbase was mostly quiet about them when they were winning under Ferguson. There were a few grumbles, especially when they first took over the club, but nothing like we see today.

The fans are delusional and spoilt. Most of them have this entitled "but we're Manchester United" thing about them, failing to realise that nobody gives a sh*t if they are Manchester United.

Ex players, ex coaches, ex everything constantly involved in the future of the club when they should realise their time has gone and the club needs to evolve. Every club needs to be reminded of how great their past was now and again, but United seem obsessed with it, more than Liverpool, which is saying something.

The players are the worst of the lot. Full of the biggest ego's without the quality to match it. They are all talk and they respond to criticism terribly. It's hilarious that Harry Maguire is still their captain. With him as your captain, what chance do you have at success?

The shadow of Ferguson is looming over Old Trafford similar to the shadow of Busby in the 70s. It will take a big manager to overcome this and stamp his own authority on the club in a similar way to what Tommy Doc did before he shagged the physio's wife.

What an asshole Mbappe is. I'm sure people will make excuses for him. Tell him to come to a proper league if he thinks he's so great.

The very worst thing about anything Yoonited, is their horrible ex players, continually full of angst and vitriol, its like the team is a really seriously ill family member, Keano, Rio, Neville Scholes, let it go FFs, we are bored sh*tless, and quite frankly couldn't give a f**k, (Brentford tonight were brilliant and would of tested any team.., their manager is a real good manager as well)

they are always going on about not having the right players

they spend 1 billion over the last 10 years

Brentford made 26 million profit in transfers last 10 years

Brighton net spend is 126 million on transfers for the last 10 years

and both play better football than United

Seeing Neville passionately defend United and place all the blame on the Glazer family, and that something needs to change soon, leaves me simply hoping the glazers long hold on to United.

Their decline has been quite something.

I was comparing their fall to Arsenal's last season, but I'm starting to think it could end up being much worse for them. Maybe Newcastle levels if this keeps up. With the way the league has started, I wouldn't be surprised if they finished outside the top 10.

Honestly our first season under Frank, that was one of the most exciting attacking teams I’ve seen for years. Yeah it was end to end but the way we ripped teams apart were scintillating. It’s a shame we couldn’t finish.

It was enjoyable. Fun football, kids playing football and it is quite clear how to improve the team.

When your GKs having a sh1t game like De Gea, you got no chance. What's shocking is they couldn't create more than couple of clear cut chances let alone a goal, even under Ole they could always score goals. Now they are just a confused team, let's hope they keep it up until after we play them.

I think ten hag is in trouble if results don’t pick up soon. They’ve got Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester so 2/3 are winnable given them teams form. Things can turn sour very soon.

United not even doing the basics of putting the required effort in, as this graphic from Sky clearly shows ...

Impressive that the entire Brentford XI cost less than we spent on Cucurella ! Their Moneyball approach has worked really well for them ...

I know it’s early days but it doesn’t look like the United players have bought into the Ten Hag’s methods. They’re not even working hard
