Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2022/23

I visit RedCafe a few times a day and read all the trending threads, but I never post.

If all the United fans are similar to those on that forum, then they deserve everything that's been happening to them for the past ten years. And hopefully long may it continue.

They are as obnoxious and ignorant as the Liverpool fans. Every summer is the same - they make some transfers that opposition fans don't rate at all, instead United fans try to paint them as the best that's ever been. They could sign Jonjo Shelvey next week and still find reasons to hype him and make others believe he is the hidden gem nobody knew of.

Ten Hag - they hyped him to the point you wish he'd eventually fail because he is nowhere near as good as they say he is. All they needed was a silly pre season win vs Liverpool so they can rub it into everybody's face.

When they were at their best it was all good. Now when they've turned into an ordinary team it's not good anymore simply because they are Manchester United and have the divine right to be at the top no matter what.

They blame the Glazers for all the wrongdoings, but every single transfer they made and every single appointment was cheered and hyped by the United fans like no other. Up until they were proved wrong by the performances and all of a sudden those transfers and appointments were not good anymore.

Go to the Lisandro Martinez thread - first it was comparisons with Cannavaro and how great he will be. Now he is just a midget. Sancho was the same. At first you'd have thought they signed the next Messi. Up until he proved he is no better than Zaha.

United fans are a big bunch of hypocrites and I hope they stay away from major trophies for a very long period.

look at Arsenal this time last season, Man Utd will turn it round, not going to win anything or be anywhere near where they used to be but they will improve - I would love them to come out and do a job on the scousers next, now that would be funny 😄

no sympathy for their fans and ex players though, they are everything they hate about Liverpool.

to be honest I have not watched much football yet, it’s too early for me, not even had my summer holiday yet and the cricket is still in full flow. I think many players feel the same 😊, let’s hope the Chelsea’s players are off of their hols this afternoon !

I know it’s early days but it doesn’t look like the United players have bought into the Ten Hag’s methods. They’re not even working hard

Ten Hag is overcomplicating his transfer strategy, tactics and squad. This United team hasn't played in a proper system for a long long time. For the past few years they've been playing either long balls or depending on Bruno for penalties. Last season it was depending on Ronaldo to save their skins.

I'm glad we didn't sign Sancho. Worst right winger I've ever seen

Now we’re a couple of games in, who’s your bet for the first sacking of the season?

Mine is Big Ralph from Soton. I would say Frank but I think they’ll keep him.

I think it will be Lampard. He's getting no support from Everton, even the fans are not that fond of him from what I have seen. For some strange reason, it feels like everybody wants him to fail.

The first touch and pass from Eze was world class.

About time too. He was really frustrating to watch against Arsenal and was the same today until he set up that goal.

It's about time people stopped saying Van Dijk is one of the best CB's to ever play in the Premier League, he has become so lazy with his defending.

He's almost jogging back when Zaha was in on goal and doesn't even attempt to stop the shot.

Sadly Frank imo.
