I heard that story but it made no sense. Why sign Brandt when you have firmino and coutinho.

You do realize any manager's signing doesn't have to make sense to you right? As long as any manager believes a player fits the profile that he wants, it'll make sense to that manager.

Arsenal look good this season. They have belief

I don't think Lamps will see out the season at Everton. They sold their best player and have not brought in quality to replace him.

Yeah, something is wrong with Everton's owner. They usually spend a lot on midtable players but this season there's barely been any signing for them

Set up to fail. Or the owner does not believe in him anymore so does not want to spend money but does not want to sack him yet either.

Everton need to comply with FFP after their spending in 2019-2020. They made a risk and it backfired.

So why not sell us Gordon is they need money? Richarlison was their talisman he is the last player they should have let go. They are heading for the drop of they don't invest well.

Expect the Everton board to give Frank a vote of confidence, swiftly followed by the sack.

Nowhere near Chelsea quality.

I don’t know anything about Tete, but I’m not sure what “Chelsea standard” is when we have Pulisic and CHO and RLC and have recently had Werner and Lukaku. But I must conclude that Tete is a hungover Sunday league clogger.

The BBC have done it again with a stupid headline. “Rampant Arsenal thump Bournemouth to go top”. So I click the headline expecting at least a 5-0, and it’s 3-0. So not so much thumped as just comfortable and convincing win.

If Spurs or Arsenal do win a game 5-0 then the BBC will have to use something like ‘totally annihilated’.

I guess this is just the process. We have to put up with the Arsenal smugness until their inevitable wheels coming off period in the latter part of the season...again.

Never have I seen so much excitement when an established top 6 team beats a promoted team 🤐 It' just how fickle media and fans are, one day you are title favourite, next time you lose you are a disgrace not fit to wear the shirt

Exactly, if FFP was the concern, Gordon would have been sold at 30m but rejecting at 50m means it's not about money

Nice of City to take the bad look off us.

Oh don't worry, likely we'll get thrashed by Newcastle too. And City will probably come back to win this 4-3.

Yup, really feeling bright and chipper tonight!

you're right City could find a way back - whereas we just looked like a lost cause at 2-0 today
