God I hope I'm wrong but it's feeling like it's starting to fall into place for Arsenal the way it did for Leicester.

One positive of it however is it would show City despite having the best squad are very much challengable if/when we get our act together Haaland or no Haaland.

I couldn’t possibly see any positives to Arsenal winning the title! I actually rely on City to win it just to stop anyone else if we don’t have a chance.

Even now I’m hoping they find a winner in this game!

Regarding City I got a lot of stick in the summer for saying Haaland would weaken them systematically and it's firmly looking the case.

It's all well and good when he's scoring three hattricks in a month but when he's not they look quite a bit behind the borderline autopilot team we saw last season.

It's too early to tell, this Man City team has been won 4 titles in the last 5 years, it's the anomaly to have Liverpool in there with 99 points and even they got help once the season was put on hold as they were starting to lose matches. When a team over-performs it looks like Man City has fallen a bit but they're still managing to keep the same standard.

IMO their big test is once again the CL and there we'll see just how much having Haaland means to them.

Not mentally prepared for Arsenal winning the league (which they will).

Worst set of fans going and will rub it in everyone’s face for GENERATIONS to come. Forget Liverpool, forget Spurs, nothing worse than the deluded/arrogant gunners.

Yeah they still try and pass of a team that lost 6 times (two of which to Middlesbrough) as invincible.

Every fanbase have these type of fans to think all our fans are any better is naive. Someone has to win the league if we don’t. Kudos the Arsenal management for not listening to some spoilt fans when they wanted to sack Arteta and stood by him now they can reap the rewards.
Sometimes we get too tribal and don’t take to time to appreciate what they have done.

We should look at their journey and how they turned around a club that was in chaos since Wenger departed.

It can all changed by May next year but Kudos to them.

haha City

So much was made of our performance in losing 2-0 at City. Brentford just took a huge pu$$ on that idea.

Does not surprise me anymore.

Thing with Arteta is he came in and had a plan; just like Pep & Klopp, he cleared out their older players and rebuilt the side. Looking from outside even though he appeared crazy binning Ozil, Aubameyang and others he stuck with his plan. Even when he & Edu got it wrong with Willian & Luiz, he quickly binned them and continued with his project.

With Tuchel granted he won all those trophies, I just couldn’t see what he was trying to do in the long run. Everything just seemed to be geared towards the “now, the short term thinking did my head in. Now with a change in ownership I felt he could he have been a bit more patient with the pressure off, but he doubled down on the now and spent recklessly in the window. Fans wouldn’t have gotten on his back, and there would have been some perspective if his approach was different.

Lampard is struggling, at some point Ancelotti was top 3 with this Everton team but right now there is no signs of Everton being anything else other than a team that will try to survive relegation.
