Gusto was playing ridiculously high, it looks great when we were attacking or controlling the ball, like the way he setup the first one. When we lost possession, one straight pass to their LW and we were completely exposes and Gusto had no chance to track back. A lot of it goes to the manager who set up the system, and a proper DM with legs and awareness could have helped a lot.

Cucu was ok, although I rarely expected more from him these days

Absolute headless chicken, if we can get anywhere near £20m in the summer we should snap their hand off. He isn't better than Chilwell, Maatsen or even Hall.

I thought he was poor. He is the only defender I have seen make Antony look world class tonight. Antony had the beating on him every time. Too much of a liability. He puts in the odd good tackle but other than that is way too weak and easy to target.

It happens all the time with Cucurella. Just as it did with David Luiz.

Yes, of course he should as he left a huge space on his side of the pitch for Utd to saunter through. 

Made Antony really look like a 90m player at times. 

Thought he was alright. 

Did alright, nothing special and always gives the opposition at least one clear opportunity a game. 

Wish him the best but probably sell him in summer and get a genuine contender for LB. 

I think he always puts his all in, but it's not good enough. I was willing to give him another year after the last season, but I've said from early on he's not good enough. I think our LB situation needs evaluating, I'm hoping we can maybe see Maatsen there next season because I don't think Chilly is up to the task either.

In an ideal world we sell both Cucurella and Chilwell. (Also Kepa, Lukaku, Sterling and anyone else in the high earners club not named Reece James).

But who is going to buy them and pay them anywhere near what we do?

If, and I know its pretty much impossible, we can ignore the history, can anyone see a possibility where Lukaku returns and plays?

If we can't find a buyer then are we really going to accept another loan deal? Or are we going to have to acknowledge we are in a financial mess and we have a player on our books who plays in a position in which  we are short of options.

Strange with Cucurella - he looked fantastic at Brighton under Potter.

Cucurella has obviously flopped here overall but I also believe it's gone a bit under the radar how poor Chilwell's been for two consecutive seasons. He's generally been a disaster every time he's been on the pitch this season and last and I don't think there is a lot between them at the moment.

His attitude off the pitch negates anything he brings on it.

I think we can safely say that role is well and truly assigned now 

I'm not saying I want him back. I just think we might end up in a position where we have to take him back and, if that is the case, we need to find a way of making the most. A season with Jackson and Broja as back up isn't going to be remotely  good enough

I agree we can't continue as is, although I do think Jackson will improve.

Lukaku is just such a toxic human being.

Injuries will do that to you. It's similar with James. When he's been fit, he's been well below his best. 

Like I said the other day, these players have picked up so many injuries at this point that the only chance they will ever return to anything like themselves again is if they can go a full season without any major injuries.

I have a sneaky feeling that Boehly trip to Saudi recently may well result in a shock deal for Lukaku and Ziyech to go out there
