December 1, 20241 yr Have to hold my hands up with Cucurella, completely different player since the Euros. Genuinely look forward to watching him play now. Reminds of Luiz under Conte where we found a role to cover his deficiencies and he looks world class.
December 1, 20241 yr Maybe, as with Jackson and NNNJ, we can only say Cucurella has truly made it, and turned around fan opinion on him, when Just becomes one of his biggest fans.

Error prone CB, tetchy on the ball, mind in the clouds. Great tackler though. Shifted to RB he was one of the best we've ever seen, a genuine goal-threat in attack and a wall in defence.
December 2, 20241 yr I f**king love this mad man. If he continues in this form his price will turn out to be a bargain.
December 5, 20241 yr I love this guy... Did some "dark arts" training i guess. Hahaha Brilliant, it's part of the learning curve, they all need to get smarter at this and its coming along nicely in set pieces especially. Well done Cuckoo... 😆 (and set piece coaches)
December 5, 20241 yr @just is still digging to find anything in a game that he should be sent to Crewe as soon as the January window opens though!
December 5, 20241 yr Remember when all of us questioned this signing? It's like Tuchel and Boehly saw the future because 99% of the football world didn't believe he'd be good. The Euros really did him a big boost of confidence
December 5, 20241 yr Greatest thing Poch ever did was getting this guy cup tied so his move to United would fell through. Edited December 5, 20241 yr by Sconnie Blue
December 5, 20241 yr Like I said he’s our Mad Man and I love him 😂 We need a dark arts player too many nice players in our squad. Hopefully they learn from Cucu!!
December 8, 20241 yr Really unlucky today, what’s the odds of the same player slipping twice and we concede? We shouldn’t have conceded from both slips if the players around were switched on. Hopefully he doesn’t make this mistake again.

I would be fuming if I was him being given boots that are not fit for purpose. Could easily have cost us the game with an amateur mistake.
December 8, 20241 yr Hope he puts that sh*t behind him and never lets that happen again. So stupid. That being said, ignoring the 2 slips it was yet again another good performance from him.
December 8, 20241 yr Yeah it's hard to be too critical of him given when he DID change the boots he didn't slip over again so it was obviously something not right there.

I'm pretty sure, like my wife, Cucurella let's no one but himself, select his own footwear. He should never have started the game in strapy, loose fitting, kitten heels 👠
December 8, 20241 yr f**k your boots selection Cucu but good job on not buckling down under pressure. Please for f**ks sake do not put on the wrong boots again!

Carragher was being a proper w**ker about it. Cucurella maybe should have caught on that something was wrong in warm up, but even still, his best mate Gerrard had a few slips in his career and I bet he wasn't as hard on him.

Carra is a twat wanted us to lose because his statement at the start of the season about us is starting to look like one of those infamous statements that comes back to bite him in his arse. Could you imagine if we beat them to the title after him slagging us off earlier!!
December 8, 20241 yr Top performance today. Honestly to come back and play as normal after the start he had is impressive.
December 8, 20241 yr Shows how much he has grown after two mistakes most players would die but not him he stood back up and drove the team forward. Thats the mentality we need, you can see also at the end of the match laughing with Maresca.
December 8, 20241 yr It was his worst game of the season by a million miles. And, he still made a helluva a lot of basic errors after his first two slips resulted in goals. Several missed interceptions he didn't have to go for. Got caught wrong side on counter-attacks because he was watching the ball. In high pressure situations he is sometimes incapable of slowing down, calming down, and easing off the throttle. It simply isn't in his DNA. That said, he has been excellent for most of this season so a 5 out of 10 performance today isn't the end of the world for him. Hair and heels. How can you not like him?
December 8, 20241 yr He’s bin the boots on Instagram I don’t think his boots partner will be happy 😂😂
