August 27, 20223 yr Frank has gold sky Sports, and repeated Gordon will NOT be leaving Everton: " Lampard: Gordon will stay 'for a long time' Anthony Gordon put speculation over his future behind him to net his first goal of the season to earn Everton a point at Brentford this afternoon. Frank Lampard was bullish in his comments about the 21-year-old after the game, saying: "I see him being an Everton player for a long time - my advice to him now is just to cut out all the noise in his head whenever he plays or trains, and I'm delighted for him today."
August 28, 20223 yr Most media sources claim this one is over now as Lamps imposed a deadline we had to reach an agreement over the deal and that has apparently passed. The Mirror are the only ones who think it's still on, that I have found anyways, and even describe it as "imminent" as they claim he gave a special goodbye to the Everton fans at Brentford.

Do we need the long-form version, Gordon on the bench looking cold in a beanie hat, a much-mocked missed open goal, the Newcastle rumours?" And in the end the real question Gordon to Chelsea raises is the most basic one: what is the point these days of Everton football club? Is it to compete, to strive through smart moves and homegrown talent to match the top tier? Or simply to service those entities, to exist as a backdrop? ….. Depressing but true for Everton fans. August 28, 20223 yr Frank has told Sky sports the deadline for us to agree to Evertons demands is quickly coming up: " Lampard sets Anthony Gordon deadline Everton manager Frank Lampard has revealed the club have set a deadline for Chelsea to agree a deal for Anthony Gordon - or he will be staying at Goodison Park. Sky Sports News revealed the Blues are open to paying up to £60m for the attacker, who scored in Everton's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday, "We have drawn a red line," Lampard said. "It is very difficult. I got asked last week, 'will he be here at the end of the window?' It was an impossible question to answer, really. But I am working to try and put a squad together. "There absolutely has to come a time where we understand what the squad is going to be, especially a player of the level of Anthony. "I won't say where it [the cut-off point] is, but I think you understand I am getting very close to it."
August 29, 20223 yr Author The chances of Everton’s Anthony Gordoncompleting a move to Stamford Bridge are now thought to be slim too, with sources pointing to a substantial gulf in valuation between the negotiating clubs. Manchester United are believed to have made a late check on Gordon’s availability before stepping up their pursuit of Ajax winger Antony. @theatheltic

Move has been dead for over a week now. Evertons demands are too higher, one report said it was both Gallagher and Broja as well as 25mill. Gordon won't kick up a fuss to leave, as we have seen Fofana and Boly do to get their ways, he also has 3 years left on his deal, which is a sweet spot for Everton to keep him and maybe sell next summer for a large fee of he won't sign a new deal.
August 29, 20223 yr Is there anyone that actually wants this deal to happen? Nevermind the ludicrous idea of not only Broja going the other way but also Gallagher PLUS cash! Even if it was a purely cash deal I'd be dissapointed!

I'm not convinced we are still trying to negotiate with Everton. Same with a lot of the other rumours. Tuchel said at the weekend that it was very possible there would be no more signings this window. That actually seems more likely than some of these ridiculous rumours.

I wouldn’t mind if he would join but definitely not with Gallagher + Broja. For 30 million I would take him on board. I rather spend 80 million on a midfielder next season

Not for the deal mentioned and I don't believe we are in negotiations with Everton anymore. Deal is dead for now.

August 29, 20223 yr Frank: 'Anthony wouldn't, shouldn't, couldn't do that with me. If he did try and sit out a game he'd see a different side to me. No doubt about that and I think he knows that.'

He ain't coming this window, neither is Auba. Only Fofana and the Russian kid.
