All jokes aside though, so far havent seen much of him since he left, but of course its very early days and hes one for the future. Did think he was a quality player and wish we had kept him over the likes of Maatsen and Chilwell instead

Just a personal opinion to those that matter in thread creation and moving them....

This is bad form and representation. Stop treating mount Hall differently to how other players have been treated. Confine all threads about him to where they belong and send them to where others have mentioned. 

Stop shoving him down our throats. We get it he is liked by some but he is also not liked by some but all agree he is not our player. Stop commenting on threads for him in an area reserved for our Team.

Technically, as far as what OUR club have announced, Hall is still a Chelsea player, who is on loan with an option to buy.

Newcastle however have said that they have an obligation to buy,

Until CFC agree with the Newcastle statement, I guess there is a justification to keep Hall in the Chelsea part of the forum, albeit he is about as likely to play for us in the future as all of us !

As of today, Hall is still on our club website, in the Loan section, and his entry states the following :

He continued his involvement in the senior team in 2022/23 before moving on loan to Newcastle for 2023/24, with the Tyneside team having an option to make the move permanent.

They did, but we still made around £50 on the deals, if you include a reported £13-15m sell on fee for Livramento's move to Newcastle. That's about 80% of a Cucurella.

Started at LB v Dortmund last night mainly due to injuries and match turnaround. Subbed at half time. A big ask playing at that level, his inexperience was exposed and, frankly, as at Chelsea, he lacked defensive instincts. 

Livramento was outstanding on both sides of the pitch.

I fear so. If memory serves, he came through the Academy as a midfielder. Not sure when the LB transition came about. His preference at Chelsea was midfield. At LB he struggles with reading the game and positioning.

Is he playing LB for them? I thought part of the attraction was that they would play him in midfield?

Signed as a LB back-up. They're looking for a replacement for Tonali while he's suspended so I don't think they see him in midfield. 

According to Chelsea site Newcastle have an option but not an obligation to buy. Assuming this is the case, it will be interesting to see what they decide to do at the end of the season. Hall has had very limited playing time and arguably would have got more opportunities if he had stayed with Chelsea. May also depend on whether Newcastle have the same management team in place at the end of the season. Nothing is certain in football.

Thought I was going mad, I was certain he was sold not loaned. 

He's a midfielder playing as a makeshift left back, it's no surprise he can't even get in at Newcastle. I would have thought they would have given him some game time in midfield though considering their injury problems there. 

Likely an obligation if he hits a certain number of appearances, which would explain why he doesn't play even during their injury crisis.

It was widely reported as a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for 28m at the end of the season with a potential 7m of add-ons.

Hard to know how Eddie Howe rates him. Despite their injury problems, he has recently come off the bench only once for a not very convincing LB effort late in the game.

I don't think it's hard at all? 

Even before their injuries got really bad he was always hooked off at half time when he did start.
