Now I need an update on Kante, truly a deep insight into his recovery. If that guy comes back fully fit and gets a run of three or four consecutive full 90 minutes feeling no pain whatsoever, then we're in for a wild ride for the next months.

I know he is match fit but he will be arriving tomorrow and probably doing marketing stuff like interviews and pictures,  so will have only Thursday to train for the match on Friday.

 

I just think we should play safe with him. Chalobah can play in midfield against Fulham

i want the team to be the star, you can win every tournament without a top top No.9 as long as you have good and hard working players around the centre-forward.

IMHO Havertz is a top talent and mentally very strong and this might just be the moment he gets unlocked with players of such quality behind him. For me he is not and never will be one to build the team around, but could explode in a free flowing, fully functioning team where he is not the main man.

Chelsea paid the clause, if I understood correctly. Once off 120 million euros.
