I know he's still young, but you can tell he and Fofana have a similar thing going on where they have loads of talent but not much going on upstairs.

At £45kpw he should be among the easiest players to sell, even at an enormous profit too.

It's so unfair on so many footballers that they can't go and represent their team in the world cup but the likes of Neto, Garnacho and Gusto can.

I think over the seasons, many a CFC supporter would have had an irrational dislike of certain Chelsea players. Sometimes it just can't be helped. Could be they're not very good, perhaps keeping one of your favourite players out of the team. Previously played for a hated club. Maybe just a stupid haircut. Whatever.

Now we have this current crop of players and there are just. way too many to choose from. But since Sterling left, I think that Gusto has become No.1 for me. I just cannot see the point of him. I know exactly what you mean.

He's not good going forward despite the freedom he's given to get forward, he's not even that good in defence either.

It honestly winds me up.

Not only could you say he keeps Josh out of the team but worse than that he keeps Reece out of the team at right back, Reece is literally moved into midfield instead.

What kills me is that he is a liability in defence and rubbish going forward and is still one of the first names on the team sheet.

Picking him is like trying to win football matches with only 10 players.

Even Garnacho gets dropped for being useless but this guy is constantly picked week after week.

I honestly don't understand why he starts matches at this club - there can't be any way Maresca, Liam and Callum continually pick him without being told to.

How can any football manager watch him and then watch Reece and then go with Gusto for certain matches!

It doesn't make any sense to me.

Hes a lazy w**ker, spends half the game letting attackers jog past him meaning he has to try and get back and ends up usually giving cheap fouls and sometimes penalties away.

That sounds likes complete bullsh*t. He's started 26 out of 38 league games, 2 of those league games he was injured / suspended. So out of 36 games he was available for, he started all but 10 of them. He's started more games than James. It says "James untouchable at right back under Alonso"..........Alonso hasn't even started the job yet.
