You could say the same about Potter, but I think a genuinely elite manager gets far more out of this lot than Potter did

Hard to be worse than Kai and Sterling today

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we’ve had our 15 minutes and it’s all over now. We’re in Everton of the last 30 years territory now.  There is no way back to the top, we’re a comedic catastrophe. It’ll just take time for everyone to realise that this is just the way it is now.

One of the reasons I was still semi defending Potter at the end is because we were starting to look quite good with our build up play in the first 2/3rds. Pretty much since Fulham away there's been pockets of each game I've enjoyed bar Spurs away.

I get it's a results business but we did literally everything but score vs Villa and Liverpool, Lampard has taken away the small good bits about Potter is one game.

We can see now how destructive Abramovich's forced departure has been ... losing Rudiger being one obvious casualty
