My tactics are to outnumber and frustrate Madrid in midfield with the Kante triplets plus Chalobah and Kovacic.

Our secret weapon are our full backs Chilwell and James, they are much younger than the Madrid full backs by several years. James and Chilwell both have a great strike in them, especially coming late at the back post, i can see them scoring our goals more than our attack to be honest.

                           

Well we already know that our team is goal-shy, so sadly probably the best we can hope for is a solid defensive display that keeps the score respectable. Could be a long night. Is there any news on Fofana? Looked like he picked up an injury towards the end of the game yesterday.

The last thing Todd wants is a possible match up against Tuchel.

It's got all sorts of ramifications for him.

Expect a loss , avoid Tuchel, and face saving for Todd .

 

I've got to be honest,I couldn't stand Potter but we definitely had a better chance of going through with him in charge instead of Frank.

Or.....Todd could be thinking if we knock Bayern out (i know), and Bayern lose the German league to Dortmund, Tuchel will get the sack quicker than Potter and Todd can re-employ Tuchel.

4-3-2-1 is the same formation we battered them with in the away leg last season. Might well work again !

Last time I trust the UEFA web site LOL. This is how they recorded it !

The only thing we'll come away from the Bernabeu with is more misery.   Unless we play 10 at the back, knee Benzema in the bollocks and kidnap Junior, as well as pepper spraying Courtois we ain't got a hope in hell based I what I saw the weekend....................and the last 10 games or so.

I know Kepa will probably play but It is just hard to watch. 

Cucu is probably better suited than Chalo as lcb but I can't watch cucu play anymore. Cucu has been so bad that picking murdyk over Badi for CL squad feel like a mistake now. 

In midfield, other than kante+enzo the choice is between Ruben, Kova, zakaria and gallagher. If Zakaria is fit, I will play Zakaria. Kova is a mess right now, so no. Between Conor or ruben, my pick is Conor because we need somebody to help Kante to destroy real midifeld. 

Fw wise, kai will play. Felix is just so bad defensively so not for me. I will bring murdyk off the bench later, so we are left with Sterling.

I might not start havertz. He is a good player but over used and confidence must be low. I want to pick Auba sterling and muddy up front. Enzo and Kante in midfield maybe with Connor and have chukwumeka come on after an hour for Kante.

Auba is fresh with a point to prove    There is no downside no one else is scoring.

Just play 3 CBs and allow Chilwell and James to attack. Kante and Enzo in front of them. The rest doesn't seem to matter as they've all proven to be equally terrible this season.

Please not a back four......
