This team has to take responsibility for this.

No spine or backbone to the side, no ability to take the game on and step up the pace when required.

Not enough quality at all, no threat from midfield at all, no marquee forwards and wingers who can’t or won’t take on players.

This is not a managers problem, yes you will say selection was poor or whatever the fact remains we’ve embarrassed ourselves with sackings this season and will continue to do so with this nonsense of panic sacking and buying.

Morale is likely at all time low with the influx of players and changing of management.

However people need to separate the player from the manager. Lampard has won 1 game in 19 games as a manager. He is way out of his depth. A lot of these players likely experienced it when Tuchel took over from him.

If I was him I would put himself first and resign for his mental well-being. He’s the type of guy that will shoulder this for a long time.

This right here is why so many of us were worried about the standards of whats acceptable at this club being massively lowered to accomodate Potter earlier on this season. It was accepted for the manager so it's obviously creeped into the players as well and this sh*t here is what you end up with.

What qualifies as lack of standards in your eyes out of interest? Wheres the line?

I'm curious given how aggressively you use to defend a player who broke the PL record for lack of touches and have openly admitted your desire for us to bring a manager back who openly admitted he couldn't compete with a side that had many of these players in?

he individuals are good but the managers are f**king awful.

And who hired the managers?

And how good are the individuals? Impressing in Ukraine and Holland like Mudryk & Madueke who we've spent 100 million + on is hardly convincing and they both look like sh*t.

Any fan that expects Pochettino to be in a title race needs a reality check. IMO he deserves 2-3 of minimum qualifying to CL to sort out this mess

Maybe but as we saw with Sarri anything further down from that will cause a lot of moaning.

Yep, are we still trusting the process!

Mudryk at least has promise, Madueke is a championship player at best. We’ve been mugged off completely by buying with only two requirements

1. Are they young?

2. Do they even have a even a slim chance of getting any better?

It’s a mess, a real f**king shambles

I'd be curious to see us in a shootout with Everton, right now.

23 man squads take pens and it end 3-2.

We’d score 2? Not having it.

We've got Bournemouth and Forest in the run in. Might need a point at least from those.

Tonight was probably our best chance to get a point in the remaining games. One of the few teams in our remaining fixtures with little to play for.

that's what I'm thinking

The transfers, the sackings, the appointments, all on the owners, all of these crazy decisions being made without any knowledge about the sport they have involved themselves in has f**ked us, but it shouldn't be this bad. The players are also a disgrace for their lack of effort and desire to make things right. I have praised Thiago Silva throughout his whole time here with us, but him bitching about the owners the other day is just an excuse. The players on the pitch can and should be offering a lot more, even if the dressing room had to be made bigger so everybody can fit. f**king hell, there are some clubs with barely a dressing room at all that will work their asses off to get the result, and they ain't walking home with 150k+ every week. This lot are in the most priveledged position in the sport, they can f**k off with the excuses because I'm not having any of it.

Get out there and go face to face with the fans, obsorb their anger and sort it out. If not, f**k off out the club, I'm not interested in your sh*t excuses anymore.

Exactly not taking the blame away from the owners but I agree the players have to take a big portion of the blame too.  Kim Kardashian should be able to keep this team in the top half of the table.

I like your optimism.

Truth is, whoever you chose to blame for all this, owners, coaches or players (or all three as I prefer), we’re seriously f**ked. We are not coming back from this for a long time, if indeed ever.

Haaland scores single figures playing up front for us this season. Pep coaches this bunch of players to 9th at best and Boehly is living a real life Brewster’s Millions.

How are the two situations even remotely comparable? We are now the worst team in the league, there is no doubting it, we see it every game. I think most have woken up now and realised that we won't be touching top 4 next season, it will be a miracle if we finish in the top 10.

We have lost top 4 after Arsenal and Newcastle games in November with our sh*t form back then. There is no chance to get top 4 with such shame performance.

Now is even more worse.

No you mentioned it. We really are the worst team in the league, and no by a little by quite a margin. f**king hell.

This sucks

Because he was trying to totally overhaul an entire system with largely unsuitable players. Despite doing that largely successfully and improving on the previous season's results many wanted him gone.

It's easy to say now that people will understand if Pochettino is 7th we will be patient but imagine if that 7th is accompanied with dull possesion based football because (like Sarri) he needs to get us running before we can walk until he can put the athestically pleasing side of things into play? (And then when he was starting to do that people dismissed it because we didn't win at Anfield, Old Trafford and the King Power).

I've seen this script before (and this time with his Spurs connections to be put into the potion), not only will many refuse to see the bigger picture but some may even pretend it's worse than this season.

Infact forget Sarri, it took a UCL win for Tuchel to win a significant number of the fsnbase round.
