I don’t want him sacked because I just don’t see this mess getting solved with constant change, the injuries inexperience would make any club unstable who’s changed practically everything in the last 18 months. I said I would give him until the second half of the season to see progress and we are now in the early stages of the second half and outside of Liverpool, Arsenal’s and City matches I haven’t really seen any else yet, but I will remain patient. But he does look resigned to walking!!!

January 12, 20242 yr We just need to hold our nerve and be patient. I know it’s not Chelsea of old but there has been green shoots despite the massive ongoing injury list. The board have given him an under 23 team competing against well oiled men’s teams. - 2/3 points off 6/7th - League Semi final - Starting to a few winning runs together Sign a striker in a summer, lets the injuries clear up and we’ll get there

So what's so bad about any of that from our perspective ? And of course, Pochettino has come up against de Zerbi three times in his short tenure as Chelsea manager, and so far it is 3 wins for Chelsea and 3 defeats for Brighton. Yet another pointless Twitter account with hardly any followers being held up as some sort of authority on footballing insight ... ?

January 13, 20242 yr So Poch said in his presser that Caicedo had told him how tough Brighton found playing at Boro in the cup last year when he was still there and lost, so it is a tough place to go for PL sides. Brighton won 1-5 at Boro a year ago. So has Caicedo got an awful memory or did he set Poch up to look a plonker?

Yet another pointless Twitter account with hardly any followers being held up as some sort of authority on footballing insight ... ? De Zerbi’s talents are well documented, and as Pep himself stated, is one of the most influential coaches in modern times on these shores, a league that passed Poch by a long time ago. Every top tactician needs the tools to do their job, De Zerbi is a victim of his own success at a club where such success can never be sustainable with their business model. The main argument against his appointment last season was down to question marks over managing a ‘big club’ and dealing with pressure. Then ironically, we went and hired the biggest bottle job in history because he could ‘improve’ a young squad; meanwhile not one player has ‘improved’ under his tutelage. Let’s not get into the habit of every interaction starting from scratch btw, someone posts a video or an image and suddenly it’s a ‘start from scratch’ argument like the content of the media is somehow a standalone argument in itself rather than part of a bigger picture. Must be a term for that, proper Internet forum/twitter phenomenon.

January 13, 20242 yr Mudryk under De Zerbi was worth £89m Caicedo under De Zerbi was worth £115m Levi Colwill under De Zerbi made us all sweat over that Liverpool offer, now he’s playing left back. Inter have been in contact, his agent was in Barcelona back in April and big reports in November were of Real Madrid meeting with his agent to replace Carlo eventually, so it’s probably all wishful thinking but hey, one can dream. Italian coaches at Chelsea, it’s just meant to be..

Still should not have said that though even if Brighton had lost there. "Bad performance, bad result, we will sort it out at the bridge". Simple.

Probably to do with injuries and what he is seeing on the training pitch from the various solutions being tried, but it would be nice to hear what it is straight from the horse's mouth ! The reason Enzo as am n Colwill as lb is quite obvious. My biggest gripe so far with poch is that he is way too conservative with his approach. Both tactically and personel wise. Of course I am not talking maatsen on the left, gusto on the right.

But the bloke is definitely a wind up merchant, has to be, or he's got the worst case of ADHD I've ever seen. I'm not those people. I can't speak for anyone else but I've used the forum on and off for 12 years. Before our CL final against Bayern. Lost some good posters over the years, a lot of bad ones too and some are turds we JUST can't seem to get rid of. Bemused you think there's any banter between me and that Just Fella though. I've had the cretin blocked for a long time. i'm sure he's not still not constantly posting his drivel in response to my posts. At least I bloody hope not anyway. As for actual football I'd like to say I didn't want Potter sacked at all don't tar me with that brush I didn't want the fella hired but our problems were much higher up than the manager then and still are now. We're not giving our managers a fair chance because our squad hasn't been built correctly it's riddled with holes and positions we lack quality and for what we've spent and we seemingly have no intention of bringing in proven experienced professionals to fill them.

I'm aware, my guess is you probably made a boatload of accounts at some point. Because you only made one post for about 11 years then came back right after your previous account was banned. Seemed like a coincidence to me. Now you have wound me up on a few occasions, usually after a bad result when I'm in a bitter mood. But for the most part I do find you amusing, the forum engagement between you and numerous others just makes me laugh. It's probably to do with how sh*t Chelsea currently are, you find any form of happiness you can get. Edited January 13, 20242 yr by Victor90
