I'm aware, my guess is you probably made a boatload of accounts at some point. Because you only made one post for about 11 years then came back right after your previous account was banned. Seemed like a coincidence to me.

Now you have wound me up on a few occasions, usually after a bad result when I'm in a bitter mood. But for the most part I do find you amusing, the forum engagement between you and numerous others just makes me laugh. It's probably to do with how sh*t Chelsea currently are, you find any form of happiness you can get.

I don't take happiness in us being a shambles it's easy to try and make light of it but I'm genuinely upset at how bad our owners are and just how they've driven standards down across the entire club so quickly.

Even before Roman we were consistently at the right end of the table and had some real experienced quality come in like Ruud, Zola, Vilalli, Desailly, Jimmy so ripping up the club to become the world's most expensive children centre hurts a lot.

You've got it completely wrong though it may just be a coincidence because I've only ever called for one manager to be sacked in my lifetime and it wasn't Potter, Poch or Tuchel.  All 3 are just victims of the mess up top.

I want to see more from Poch, but results are slowly turning.  Still not dynamic enough for me and game management is an issue.  However, as injured players return (and hopefully stay fit), I expect things to continue to improve.

Data can be cut any number of ways, and we've all seen just how poor Chelsea would have shown in a 2023 calendar year table - bottom if i recall from all teams in the PL across the period.  However, recent form is changing things.  A look at the PL table from Oct 1 paints a different story (albeit more games played);  a smaller sample from just Dec further improves the view.  Maybe things are turning for the better....

what does that mean ?

Where did you get that from?

Absolutely no idea what he's doing at any point in the game, he can't get his demands over to players, his subs are just nonsensical and more often than not just leads to more pressure on us.

Hate when pundits say sh*t like this as if punditry is a gossip forum. If you have something to say just say it or don't say anything at all

Wasn’t a pundit it was Poch

I know we’re very up and down but Poch is making progress with this team. I believe he would have made more progress if it wasn’t for the injuries.

If we can somehow get Nkunku back, that would be a massive help. Bendiot, Chucky and Chilwell have returned.

Upto 8th now.

Next 5 games:

Boro (H)

Villa (H) (FA cup)

Liverpool (A)

Wolves (H)

City (A)

I think the Boro and Villa games are key for Poch.

Pool and City away with Wolves in between. Top 2 sandwiches a good, hard working tactical team.

Those should be fun lol.

So Poch said in his presser that Caicedo had told him how tough Brighton found playing at Boro in the cup last year when he was still there and lost, so it is a tough place to go for PL sides.

Brighton won 1-5 at Boro a year ago. So has Caicedo got an awful memory or did he set Poch up to look a plonker?

Possible that Caicedo got Middlesbrough mixed up with Charlton Athletic, who beat Brighton in the EFL Cup last season ? Both teams play in red, so maybe that confused him ?

League One Charlton that was ... caretaker manager Anthony Hayes getting the better of the mighty De Zerbi, despite star man Gilmour playing in midfield and Colwill playing at centre back.

It can happen to anyone I guess !

Could well be the case.

I realised I'm still not used to Pochettino: watching the post-match interviews on Match of the Day, I thought "So typical they start with interviewing the losing manager". It was Pochettino first....:face_palm:

Bring Chilwell on as winger says it all for me. The team against Cottagers was set up to lose. Lots of sterile possession then get caught on break. Didn’t happen but felt like it might.

It was the right decision.. chilwell wasn’t going to help with crosses into the box. Plus coming back after 4’months straight in as a LB in a pressure cooker situation..having said that Sterling was looking spent and I trust chilwell more than Mudryk to protect a lead..

the thing I fault him would be he should have switched to a back 3 instead of a back 4 earlier.
