My question then though is what if the player then digs in like Chilwell and demands to be paid off before he leaves? I guess they will just give his shirt number to someone else and banish him to the reserves.

As we've also seen with Trev though, can't just force a player out. They've wanted him gone for 2 years and they've only just managed to ship him out on loan!

The more I look at it and think of it, there's no way they haven't factored in poor performance clauses in such a way that makes it easier to cut the contract short. 

Many don't rate Jackson, there's a lot in the media about it, even a buffoon by his recent actions like Mikel whom I constantly supported and stood up for when he was also the butt of jokes about his sideways passing and what he offers the team on these very hallowed pages, makes a very public mockery of him. 

So why then has he had his contract extended? We all know the only person that has also had one is the starboy whom many applaud and say he deserved it, though they might disagree with the extension of an already unusually long contract.

So he has met whatever performance target he was set. If they are triggering them so "easily" then wonder what the non performance will be cause there's no way a group that's so focussed on the bottom line will be giving free lunches without looking to protect themselves too.

Time will tell.

Who would have guessed it - donkey fluffed all the chances he had against bournemouth, and within minutes of him getting taken off, his replacement puts away his first chance to win us the game.

So happy with the win, and of course, more vindication of my disdain for this fraud of a footballer....

i'm off to listen to The Hives now - they have a song that suits the occasion.

it beggars belief you could see Nkunku making better runs etc as soon as he came on. He’s a pure finisher jocko just isn’t and you cannot train that. You either have it or not. Jackson just doesn’t have it 

When there’s a lot of space to exploit I would start Jackson, he offers so much driving forward.

But games like tonight, yes we definitely needed a lethal player and we had that in Nkunku thankfully.

The thing that drives me nuts, and Alan Smith trotted it out again tonight, is the total fabrication that Jackson generally makes good runs. What? OK perhaps once in a Blue moon, as was the case from Colwill's pass in the furst half which he didn't finish. But in attacking, fast break situations, he generally makes terrible runs. He goes in the wrong direction, he goes too early, he runs the wrong side of defenders which allows them to cut the ball out. Sometimes, unbelievably, he runs towards the player carrying the ball and takes the space away from them! He is no more a natural centre forward than Harry McGuire is.

I have no idea why people keep defending him, he's terrible. One in one v keeper and he doesn't even manage to get a shot off. Standard booking fir acting the prick, stopped attacks constantly....just dogsh*t

I like Jackson but even I don't think he should start week in week out. The problem is he is our only st (unless you count Guiu). 

 

Was horrible yesterday.. everything he tried turned to sh*t..

So Chilli, who most would regard as one of the top ten full backs operating in the Premiership, albeit injury prone, is kicked into the long grass, yet Wacko, who most sane people would not bracket into the top 50 forwards earning a living out of top flight football in this country gets a pay rise and a bonkers long contract. It’s like something out of Alice in Wonderland. Never mind “ oh I like the way his head never goes down, he’s à trier; the bloke is football brain dead. Full stop. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

I’ve seen some frustrating players during my 50 years as CFC fan. Walker, Fillery and others, brilliant one week, dog sh*t the next.,This geezer takes the biscuit however. Air shots, kicking the bal into touch rather than to team mates, constantly offside, fluffling comparatively simple chances/ one on ones with keepers almost on a weekly basis. Beyond comprehension that people stick up for this clown

He means well... I mean I noticed he tracked back a few times into our own half and won the ball back...

Only to give it back to them with a sh*tty pass 😁

I mean the guy is streets in front of Jackson in terms of finishing... which is like JOB #1 Score ... baffles me.

 

It actually makes me angry that the donkey keeps getting chances to ply, despite being absolute dogsh*t - and the worst player we have had since Mineiro. And felix/nkunku can't get a start.

Said it before, however likely that this fella is completely outstanding during training. Hence management faith. Come match day, he under performers. Hie does crop up with goals, gets in good positions, yet his conversion rate is piss poor. Any stats out their regarding conversation rate percentages?
