Something called a Woltemade from the Bundesliga just went for 70M and Wacko is still here with the only option on the table seemingly a loan.

Just goes to show in position where bang average players are going for astronomical fees in this market, Wacko isn’t even considered. Absolutely horrible player.

The only losers here are Newcastle let's be honest.

Looking likely for a deadline day loan to Bayern as we are failing to drum up any interest.bayern know this and are refusing to add a buy obligation.

Their probably asking for a reduced loan fee and we have to pay them a balloon payment at the end to bring him back!

Have to say it would be a bit ironic if Jackson decided to do a Bogarde, (and in the process gave a big "f**k you" to @nonotnowjim ), and stayed put on his mental 9 year contract negotiated by our truly Phenomenal Directors.

If true, that's a pretty good loan fee. Basically paid off 40% of his original transfer fee.

Having no obligation to buy doesn't really matter in this scenario.

Agreed very good deal…we all know what’s going to happen when we play Bayern though 😂

Was going to say the same thing, probably grab a hat-trick. I bet they didnt put a clause in given the price of the loan.

Wish him well and a fabulous season, so they complete the purchase, if he messes up we'll be seeing him next summer.

Nicolas Jackson transfer: Chelsea striker set for Bayern...

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is set to join Bayern Munich on loan with an option to buy, for an initial fee of £13m.

Thank God this rigmarole is over and done with.

Good riddance, hopefully never to return.

The absolute dumbest guy ever to grace the club, lack of talent, lack of self awareness, lack of intelligence. All around a terrible signing.

If he cost 32 million and he has already served 2 years at a write down of say 5 mill per year, should he return next year

we would have a player whose current cost is around 4 million (after 1 year loan fee and 3 years write down )and we would have the opportunity to re sell him or re loan him. Not too shabby. Plus weve have 30 odd goals out of him.

Thank you Nico, good luck at Bayern , might see you next year.😎

I think your numbers are a bit off but the principle is sound !
