September 1, 2025Sep 1 I’ve had some time to think about this….I think they’ve used the Delap injury as an excuse to get Jackson back to sell in full to Newcastle. Guiu is the real recall cover for the injury. the strategy if pulled off could fund our no 10 cover. Newcastle cannot go into the season with only one striker.

I'd personally prefer we roll the dice with no Jackson if we can't sign a striker. But I definitely don't want us recalling Guiu.

September 1, 2025Sep 1 I think Jackson and Newcastle make sense but they might have another targets in their mind.

September 1, 2025Sep 1 Surely we don't have to rush out and buy a striker just because Delap is out for a few games ?? After all our player trading how have we ended up without a cover for the striker ??

It might work. Pedro>Delap>Guiu. Jackson could be sold today or January.Guiu could play against Lincoln, Pafos, and Qarabag, plus likely 3rd round FA cup. Hes gotta start somewhere. September 1, 2025Sep 1 With all these games coming up... maybe we're going to need him - knows the players and Maresca ball... 😁
September 1, 2025Sep 1 “Nicolas Jackson deal was never off or collapsed, even after formal Bayern letter to return to London. Chelsea have depth now with Marc Guiu back to the club and can re-negotiate terms with Bayern, open to solutions.”Our lot are amateurs
September 1, 2025Sep 1 "Maresca was happy with just two strikers and put an £80m price tag on Jackson after Chelsea won the Club World Cup in July."Then...."Asked after the game about the possibility of cancelling Jackson’s loan, boss Enzo Maresca said: “No idea. When you have two strikers, it’s enough. When one is injured for different weeks, probably it’s not enough." 😂

Guiu would start against Lincoln and I'd wager he wont get more than 5 minutes in any of the other 6. Maresca will 100% rather start Neto up front than Guiu

September 1, 2025Sep 1 Just now, just said:I strongly disagree.Of course you do. Its the Broja principal. The player who has never scored a meaningful goal in his career is better than the devil you know.

Having got rid of attitude issue Madueke, it would have been a great window to have seen the back of this bloke as well. Now we are lumbered with him. I would rather we play youth players than himClownlake is on a mission to view every cock up and mismanagement decision as really a part of a predetermined, brilliant plan . . In every comment he shows his prejudice and hate towards critics of what's happening to our club .
