July 30, 20232 yr I’m actually excited by this. Could be quality depth and can see him starting alongside Badiashile or Colwill. Also beginning to wonder if Colwill might actually leave. Could be a makeweight to get Caicedo. Not sure if that’s a good move, but we need people who want to be here. Also not getting picked two games in a row preseason - little bizarre. Prob reading too much into nothing.

I would be absolutely fuming were he to leave

Probably needs a bit of a rest and doesn’t really need the extra fitness. I’m hoping he will be in the first team especially with the players injured and that should give him a head start.
July 30, 20232 yr He is a right sided defender, should have no baring on Colwill. Colwill signing a new deal, or not, over this season will decide his future imo.
July 30, 20232 yr We’ll, that’s the end of Badiashile moving to RCB then, under the presumption of a back 4 anyway. May also spell the beginning of the end for him at Chelsea, especially if Levi Colwill signs an improved deal and he cements his spot in the side with Badiashile injured.

I think this is more the potential end for Fofana, Chalobah and knowing Silva may be in last year.
July 30, 20232 yr Never watched him play so had to resort to Youtube but he looks like a proper bombscare if that there is his usual level. We are now looking to sell Chalobah for 25 million but are spending 45 million on replacing him when there is far more urgent areas to strengthen. I question the priorities yet again. I also doubt Disasi is better than Chalobah.

July 30, 20232 yr Questionable priorities once again. If this means the end of chalobah then we have it all wrong. Hes the perfect squad player. Happy to cover any position, loves the club and wants to stay. And we will no doubt send him packing whilst completely un-needed big earning, under performing cucurella gets to stay. If any sale is funding disasi then it should be him. Edited July 30, 20232 yr by ALTE

July 30, 20232 yr We had to have someone for that spot. I can see Humphreys getting the backup role. Trev is a fine player but never nailed down a starting spot and looks like an injury risk himself.
July 30, 20232 yr seems very powerful, and likes to dribble into midfield too he should study intensely with Thiago Silva for one season, be his little apprentice in fact, i would like for Colwill, Humphreys and Disasi to be in a little class room setting where they all analyse Thiago clips and Thiago as a teacher explaining to them what to look out for Edited July 30, 20232 yr by azpi28
