What a singing this could be.

Didn't think we'd go out and spend close to 50m on a replacement for Fofana.

Exciting times!

Big seal of approval from you then, great  :)

I’m actually excited by this. Could be quality depth and can see him starting alongside Badiashile or Colwill.

Also beginning to wonder if Colwill might actually leave. Could be a makeweight to get Caicedo. Not sure if that’s a good move, but we need people who want to be here. Also not getting picked two games in a row preseason - little bizarre. Prob reading too much into nothing.

As much as Disasi is a quality player, Colwill has shown a lot more in a tougher league.

I would be absolutely fuming were he to leave

He won’t be leaving imo, it will be Trevoh if anyone goes

Could well be down to Colwill just finishing the U21 tournament.  Probably needs a bit of a rest and doesn’t really need the extra fitness. I’m hoping he will be in the first team especially with the players injured and that should give him a head start.

We’ll, that’s the end of Badiashile moving to RCB then, under the presumption of a back 4 anyway. May also spell the beginning of the end for him at Chelsea, especially if Levi Colwill signs an improved deal and he cements his spot in the side with Badiashile injured.

I think this is more the potential end for Fofana, Chalobah and knowing Silva may be in last year.

Never watched him play so had to resort to Youtube but he looks like a proper bombscare if that there is his usual level.

We are now looking to sell Chalobah for 25 million but are spending 45 million on replacing him when there is far more urgent areas to strengthen. I question the priorities yet again.

I also doubt Disasi is better than Chalobah.

So a French international is not better than Trev?

I’ve seen him play before, strong as an ox, good technique, and can score…

From the clips I’ve watched today he is also good a pinging long balls too.

Questionable priorities once again. If this means the end of chalobah then we have it all wrong. Hes the perfect squad player. Happy to cover any position, loves the club and wants to stay. And we will no doubt send him packing whilst completely un-needed big earning, under performing cucurella gets to stay. If any sale is funding disasi then it should be him.

I keep reading how slow he is,I hope it isn't true

Done a little research, his top speed is 28.35 km/h. As comparison Trev is 31.8 km/h. So he certainly isn’t the fastest, but not terrible.

We had to have someone for that spot. I can see Humphreys getting the backup role. Trev is a fine player but never nailed down a starting spot and looks like an injury risk himself.

seems very powerful, and likes to dribble into midfield too

he should study intensely with Thiago Silva for one season, be his little apprentice

in fact, i would like for Colwill, Humphreys and Disasi to be in a little class room setting where they all analyse Thiago clips and Thiago as a teacher explaining to them what to look out for

Where did you find this? Curious how Silva or Colwill compare (not expecting quicker, but a baseline)
