Why the f*ck have we brought him? I mean we still have Chalobah, who always played decent for us. Has he even played this season?

Buying players for the sake of buying. Stupid.

Friendly remainder he cost more than Badiashile...

Slowly but surley he is getting used to the PL. Did a good job on Jimenez, who has very much been in form, at the weekend.

Think he has been doing decently well, really strong player.

Even as his harshest critic I have to admit he has been more solid these past few games.

I still think he's not good enough as a starter for a team serious about winning the league but it doesn't look like that will apply to us anytime soon.

Don't think he's a starter in a title winning starting 11, but perfect for a 18 man squad.

I think he is doing better in his first season than Rudiger did in his. It does take some time to acclimatise to the rigours and pace of the PL. Hopefully Disasi will kick on in the same way Rudi did, and become indispensible !

Personally don't think we should be spending money on those type of players though, that's exactly the roles academy lads should be filling.

I think he is better at decision making than rudi but rudi had pace and aggression that few have. Both are fairly susceptible to runs in behind due to concentration lapses though..

rudi played his best as a 3rd CB for this reason.. I am sure you out disasi as a 3rd CB he will be unplayable.

I disagree. Thought Rudiger was great under Conte and I remember all of us saying he was the only shining light (alongside Giroud) of what was our worst transfer window in the Roman era.

Disasi for me has been utterly average, with his only true value being his fitness. Chalobah's thigh injury aside, the fact we spent close to £40m on what is a direct replacement for Chalobah is just flushing money down the toilet.

Which season was it he made a ton of mistakes ? Was that not the first one ?

Rudiger from Lampard to Tuchel was one of the biggest transitions in a player I've ever seen.

Under Lampard I was convinced Rudiger was one of the worst defenders we've ever had, he was shocking. Then Tuchel made him look like one of the best defenders in the world.

True. It helped that TT could organise a disciplined defence.

You don’t get into the French National team as a CB if you are average. I don’t remember an international team having so many talented CBs to choose from.

Due to injuries, was it not?

And going to a massively over defensive formation and style of play to cover any defensive inadequacies.

Disasi is a very solid player. His biggest challenge is the lack of pace. He is probably the slowest of our squad in flat out running. In Premier League that will cause problems.

Anyway I think he's been very good all season. His personality is excellent and he oozes confidence. I really like him as a player and a person. His ceiling is about where it is right now.

He’s made some mistakes but so have they all including Silva. Available every game. I like Colwill but Diasi has done better overall so far. Much better.

Colwill looks happier at CB but his short and mid-range passing is problematic. He's sold others short a number of times.
