November 2, 20232 yr Yeah. Not a fan of this bloke. Need to come to terms that he'll simply just be good depth. Badiashile is head and shoulders superior.

November 2, 20232 yr He's making mistakes that cost us points (Brentford) or almost the game against Blackburn. I'm not sure what's going on with Chalobah, but he's a better defender and should play ahead of Disasi at the moment.
November 2, 20232 yr He's fine for 95% of a game, but that 5% where he isn't tends to lead to a big chance for the opposition.

Have you ever see him win a ground duel or 1v1? Honestly I’m struggling to say I have. This is also taken into consideration he reads the game poorly and easily gets dragged.

We don't exactly improve players, more the other way round. Edited November 2, 20232 yr by The Rising Sun Info
November 3, 20232 yr Hasn’t impressed me too. But he is 3rd passer in PL with 706 passes. He needs time. Top passers ranked by most passes in the Premier League 2023-24
November 3, 20232 yr He's 10 games in and think we'll come to appreciate his quality and squad depth. It is debatable whether he would make our first choice XI today (I'd have any combo of Colwill, Silva and Badiashile ahead), but can see why he is playing. Can also see Colwill continuing at LB, and Disasi partnering with either Silva or Badiashile. Stepping back, Chalobah clearly does not seem to figure in clubs plans, and have to think this is Silva's last season. So, long term that has us relying on Colwill, Badiashile, Fofana (to the extent he can recover), and Disasi. I'd take that four forward, and if we can ever unlock goal scorers from the frontline and midfield, it will take massive pressure off the defense.

November 6, 20232 yr Felt he was very lucky today. Poor defending on Son's offside goal and gave Son a free shot on goal with horrible defending just before Jackson went the other end and scored his second. Another day and that offside goal is probably given and Son buries the late chance to make it 2-2. I don't feel safe watching this guy defend.

I was going crazy when he gifted Son all of that space to run into. It was like he completely bottled the moment. We are seeing too much of this now, too many players losing their nerve and not stepping up when it matters. The amount of times I have noticed a player too freightened to take responsibility in crucial moments is a big concern.
November 6, 20232 yr He worries me, it's like playing with fire with him and Sanchez as the GK, and credit to Sanchez who bailed Diasi and the team out in the end. He's 24 ( if I'm right), it's not like he's a 21 year old with future ahead of him, should be a starting CD in the young team and he's no where near that.
