He's surprising me a bit. I thought he was going to be another Koulibaly at the start of the season. I'm still unsure about him when we are under pressure, that is when we see a few weaknesses come out, but outside of that, he does a good enough job.

He is solid, technically good, committed, passionate, and above all else available.  Playing his way into our top 2 CBs in my eyes. 

If they could just stay fit (big if), I am fine seeing how Disasi, Colwill, Bada, and Fofana grow as a defensive squad. 

He’s grown a lot onto me after his celebration tonight, now I know what it means to him.

I hated him for a while but he improved quite abit recently. Long may it continue

He’s an improved a bit recently to be fair and is never injured compared to the rest. Still a long way to go before I’d trust him and he got done quite badly in the build up to the first goal so I think praise of him is over the top.

He has grown on me massively, he has definitly improved as the season has gone on but I think I just like that he seems to have a bit of personality about him. Probably isn't at a level that he will be in the back 4 if we return to former glory, but he has stepped it up for sure.

Sounds stupid but seeing him go into the away end celebrating proper made my evening, nice to actually have a connection with the players on the field.

Put some respect on his name, all the crap he got at the start at the season I said give him time he’s young in a new league and a French international.

You don’t get to be a France international CB being average, they have too many average CBs already.

Same with Bali give them time.

Great game today! Happy for him, playing out of position up until recently probably clouded a few opinions on the lad, mine too. But today he was excellent.

First CB on the team sheet right now. Well played today, and bringing some much needed personality and character to the team. 

Thought he was very good today, hopefully he can keep it going.

He has the personality for it, but very early to draw that comparison.

In the last games he's performing very well.

Yesterday he was fantastic inside the box, was dominant in the air and was actually the boss in defense. 

Actually been the best centre back for us this season despite his flaws.  Not the best technically, that is obviously Silva, but fitness, enough pace to mange the odd stint at full back, effort, energy and strength. Now as he adapts to the premier league we are also getting to see a strong personality. 

Yesterday showed once and for all the dampening effect on him and others, of having Silva on the pitch, yesterday was his show, he was in charge, he dictated things, and was immense. Silvas role now, should be instead of Chalobah coming on to shore up things, when needed at the end.
