8 points off City.

6 points off Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham.

5 points off Brighton

And that is off 4 games, with a October to come facing most of the best sides in the league.

Top 5 when we struggle to score goals? Not going to happen imo.  I think we finish around where we did last season. Same problems, same result.

We need to, but I really don't think we will.

I don't see us finishing ahead of City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Brighton.

Atm no but I expect Poch to turn it around.

On paper we have anywhere from the 9th to the 13th best squad in the league so I think the smart money backed us to finish there before the start of the season and won't have changed their minds.

Not many goals in the squad.

1 billion spent to make 9th to 13th best squad and have only Sterling know where the goal is. Utter madness.

Fulham, West Ham, Brentford, Villa, Palace, Spurs, and Brighton do not have better squads than us. Come on.

We will never know if we don't have goals in this side if we don't develop our attackers and play a system that will give them chances. Haaland can miss a sitter but will immediately score a goal 5 minutes later because of the constant service.

Aye we need one of Mudryk or @Moduekealongside Sterling and Palmer.

And Broja back in when fit.

4 games in, only just over 10 per cent of the season, but still going for about 8th to 10th finish.

Unfortunately as it stands just can't see us finishing ahead of: Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Brighton, Spurs etc

Think we'll be somewhere around Man United, Newcastle, Villa, Brentford etc.

Shocked if we get close to top 4 as it is - will be glad if wrong!

I believe top 5 qualifies for Champions League this season, so I assume that is what you feel is minimum? If we could make Europa League I still think that is a step in the right direction. Hopefully we can also go on a decent run in the domestic cup competitions too.

The only side I truly see better than us is City.

Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Brighton, Spurs, Newcastle are all beatable. It's just a matter of stringing consistent results to land 5th.

However, I'd assume that the fans of Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Brighton, Spurs and Newcastle are alle saying the exact same in regards to us.
- That's if they're even considering us in that bracket at the moment.

I genuinely believe that we can beat most of the teams in the league.

On the other hand we've just started this new journey with Poch. There's no real experience in the side.

It'll take time. It could be anywhere between 4th to 10th IMO. Won't be surprised to see us ending up somewhere between 8-10.
- Still, with a good string of results and assuming our key players won't be consistently injured, I do think we can sneak into 4th.

I don't think CFC can put together a run of wins.  I am also unsure where our goals will come from.  I think 12th is about right.  Same as last season. There are a bunch of poor teams in the league, so slipping to 17th is unlikely.  The EPL is very competitive.  Teams are cagey and many have experienced players.

Two important things for me.  Fans and management should stay patient. Don't fire Poch this season.

Considering we have messed up what should have been an easy start to the season with a lot of tougher games to come I think 10th at best. I havnt missed a game this season and I can't see us scoring enough goals to compete.  Once Jackson gets injured and no doubt with our luck he will ,we won't have a number 9.

we should have bought an out an out top goal scorer and bought a proven top quality keeper.

We have bought so many bang average players for ridiculous fees we need to really look at our recruitment.  How is it Brighton can do it and yet us with  our seemingly bottom less pockets can't employ the correct scouts etc.

Sorry nothing I've seen so far leads me to think we are better than last season, but I will be there hoping poch can prove me wrong . Just what I think sorry if you think I'm being negative

Disappointed with the results to date, though expect other teams to have key injuries at times and Poch to get us drilled better as well as others coming back from injury.

Think 5th now.

I don't think it will happen ultimately but I will say that I don't think the chances of relegation have been higher for about 30 years. A ridiculous thing to even comprehend after spending over a billion in three windows but over the last 40 games or so we are averaging a point a game. On this seasons evidence there is no change from last season, still getting 1 point a game on average and our easy fixtures to open the season are nearly over.
