Our potential targets seem to be getting snapped up at a good speed. Pretty annoyed we have seemingly let kudus go. As far as a striker it might be interesting to see us rival spurs for gift orban? Pace to burn, fits our age criteria.

Reading that we might sign a couple of surprises before the end of the window. A forward and maybe an attacking midfielder across the line.

Jonathan David and Jesper Lindstrom could fit in with the model. Not sure what it would mean for some if we did bring more in.

We’d likely have to sell Gallagher, Chalobah and send Cucurella on loan. Won’t be popular but I guess it ultimately depends on who we bring in.

We've recently signed Deivid Washington, perhaps he'll get some minutes.

He could but for a bit part role perhaps. The boy is 18. 

The club web site shows we still currently have 33 "senior" players.

So I'd expect a busy 3 days in trying to get some more players out of the door, rather than more coming in, to achieve Pochettino's optimal squad size (plus probably a couple extra retained due to our medium/long term injuries)

Potential outs :

Sarr/CHO/Lukaku (all hopefully sold)

Bergstrom, Beach, Cucurella or Maatsen, Chalobah, Burstow, Washington

That would get us down to 24, and I'd imagine we'd then want one more forward coming in who has a bit of experience (no idea who). If no-one coming in, then one of Washington or Burstow stays until January (cover for Nkunku).

In addition, some other "Cobham" loans  : Tino Anjorin, possibly Bashir Humphreys, Jamie Cumming (might be sold if considered behind Bergstrom and Beach in the pecking order?)

Aye. Apparently Todd and Egbahil had a meeting with the sporting directors today and "came to an agreement" on the one player who we would go after.

Some of the ITK have speculated it would be such a big signing that would make all other transfers done by anyone else looks small in comparison.

Only way that would be true is if we got Mbappe.

Based on what, because all the players we wanted this window we have signed, so not sure why you think we will suddenly fail on these other "targets".

The acquisition of Cole Palmer takes the senior squad back up to 30 players LOL  ... and I'm not including CHO or Sarr in that figure 🙂
