Everybody can be patient with a raw player or even 2 in a settled side.  What all of us have been saying since the summer is packing the squad full of kids on over inflated fees and long contracts is a recipe for disaster. This is the product of these clowns Winstanley and Stewart not having the ability to get any seasoned pros into the squad. Our bench today was a joke,  let alone the league one level of some of the starters today.

Terrible response, compare everything Madueke did today with everything Sterling did, then you will see the difference.

You are confused, Madueke only played the ball when he got the ball. You cannot play the ball if you don't get the ball. Even if he used 70 mins on the pitch, he may get the ball just 7 times. He will stay in his position and play only when he gets the ball.

You should use Lesley and Caicedo in the hole if Enzo is not around. It's better you use two DMs, than use one DM and one AM, when the AM does not offer much going forward.

Playing Gallagher and Caicedo in the hole was a mistake. Assuming the two DMs in the hole were solid, they would have supported the defence better, and probably we won't have conceeded those goals. 

But Gallagher cannot help much in defence and he cannot help much in attack. If we had used Lesley and Caicedo, they would probably have bossed the midfield, and help the attackers more to get good assists.

We used two DMs with Matic and Kante in the hole in the midfield under Mourinho and won the premier league. You can only use one DM and one AM if the AM is very good and technical like Enzo. The AM will be very good offensively and also good defensively.

I've said both Gallagher and Sterling shouldn't be starting for this team, people don't want that, we have better options. If you are not ready for better players, then you shouldn't be complaining if the team is not doing well.

I just don't care any more. That's how much Chelsea have ground me down in the last year or so. 

1 win at Stamford Bridge in 9 months.

We are just so done.

Embarrassing from the kick off to the end whistle. There was a full week rest, and somehow we lost 2 main players to injury and had to field extra GK on the bench, what's the hell is going on? Never showed enough intent and energy after about 20 minutes, again what's the excuse or reason after a full week preparation? There are no creativity on the field, spent the second half trying to hit high crosses against a team a foot or 2 taller than us. Despite massive spending, sending out a young Brazilian kid to save the game just said it all about our recruitment. We may have some good young players, but as this game showed proven older players will beat them down physically. The feeling is just like one of the many under Potter last season, if we can't beat Brentford with a week rest, what business do we have challenging top 4 or even top half?

Yeah we did not create enough by no means, however Cucurella and Sterling missed sitters. 

For Cucurella no excuse that a professional footballer is so 1 footed he cannot side foot home when unmarked from 10 yards when near center goal.

For Sterling that chance was easier than his goal at Burnley, as it was on his supposedly stronger foot.

Should be 2 up at the break, but instead we got to see Pinnock make out defence look like Pill*cks and jog through unopposed to head in a sitter.

28 is considered elderly for our owner. Having said that, I am not sure signing a 28 year old expensive st is wise for our team right now.

Half of what's missing at Chelsea isn't the technically ability to score but the willpower and drive to stick at it for 90 ff'ing minutes and grind out a result.

Brentford had us beaten psychologically by half time without having scored a goal.

 

Hanging around on the edge of the box, laying it off to someone else to put it in the net, floating high balls in to teams a foot taller than us or overplaying it and trying to walk it in the goal isn't what I want to see... If it's not happening, I want to see Chelsea scrapping, fighting, diving, running down to the by-lines and cutting it back for 90 minutes and willing the ff'ing ball over the line into the net.

If we can do that I won't mind because I'll come away from watching the game NOT knowing "The boys gave everything" but that they manned up and ground out a result for the team, the club and us the fans.

The only games Chelsea aren't losing at the moment are the ones where the opposition is mentally weaker than us or we're getting... lucky 🤕

Whether true or not it was speculated in the summer that the ownership have put forward an age cap of 25 or under for any signings. 

We apparently turned down Maddison because of that.

I kinda agree with the board. If the plan is to develop Mudryk/Madueke/Jackson you can't sign Madison.

When can you realize that plan though? 

I will ignore paez until he play for us. Mudryk performance recently has been very encouraging but even with the criticism on Sterling, Sterling is still far better compare to Mudryk.

when the wood was struck deep down either a 0-0 or mugged off 

Treat has no leader on the pitch no playmaker no talisman up front - all requirements of a goal scoring team. 
Sanchez buffoonery again but he did make a great save prior to conceding

On the plus side we are making various other London club fans, along with "big 6" fans, very happy.

Apparently we are back to the Chelsea of 2003 and before. Have to say that ain't right, that Chelsea side we mostly entertaining to watch.

When we couldn't score the first goal, most of us knew we'd be in trouble if they score. When the scored, most of us knew we had no chance over turning it. It's all very predictable, and to think the players will improve with age is just optimistic to the extreme. We need proven quality, not relying on player with potential.  I recall towards the end, Silva flicked a header to the 6 yard box from near post, and nobody was even making a run in there, absolutely mind blowing and soul crashing. Individuals need to be hold accountable, last week was Sanchez gifted a goal to ruin the 3 points, this week is Diasi not tracking his man, both will probably play next week.
