Couldn't name a single player that played well in that half. All of them ranked between bad and terrible. Caicedo, Gallagher, Palmer, Sterling, Madueke, Colwill and Gusto, far too many players playing sh*t.

Pochettino is a sh*t coach. There hasn't been a single game where he has gotten the entire team to click. There are always a few letting the team down or we get days like today where the whole team looks sh*t.

We are usually at our worst right after his HT team talks.

I reserve my opinion on Colwill until we actually get to see him play a run of games at CB, instead of LB. But he's been poor so far. Then again, how would Terry have faired at RB? Probably not great. This manager just loves playing players out of psition. Even when he had Chilwell, he played Colwill LB and Chilwell LW. He's a moron.

Colwill did look decent at Brighton when he played CB last season. But then Caicedo looked decent there too....

Why on gods green earth is Washington not on the bench

we have 2 goalkeepers on the bench and we are still 1 short

I just don’t get poch at all does my brain in

Washington is on the bench ( that funny name de Souza or something)

Colwill is playing out of position here but remember he was playing him there with Chilwell in front of him. Just let that sink in for a bit ffs

why on earth does he keep playing players so out of position I just don’t get it

Playing left back might be a fair excuse for him not playing fantastically, but the kind of mistakes he’s regularly making have nothing to do with him playing left back, centre back or silly mid on.

I hope he's wearing a box.

In all seriousness though yes his mistakes have been poor regardless.

Could not disagree . The position is not an excuse for sh t performance.

Kimmich often plays out of his position.

unfortunately it was pretty predictable what this season would look like but i guess Boehly and Co only have Yes man on board. The worst for me is your first sentence, i almost dont want to be affiliated with the club anymore.

If we had ended up in this position ie a mid table club, by going into some sort financial issues or just gradually over time, then I honestly wouldn't have an issue, I'd accept the mediocrity.

But to have spent what we have, its utterly embarrassing. Then you hear Pochettinos comments before the game, and compare that to what Tuchel was saying before champions league games, and it is unfathomable how big our fall from grace has been in under 2 years.

Wouldnt be surprised to go down at some point under this ownership.

You have to admit Palmers Havertz impression is pretty good, as a stand up you should appricate it lol.

Bring back Chris Sutton.

I'm starting to think @Whats_The_Mata? might have been right axman. We should have gone for some of the talented unknown youngsters he name checked. Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, M'bappe.

Never heard of them myself.

You have not? I have heard they are this generations N'Sync...

@Liam Jimmy Floyd is looking quite lean in the studio. Might be the continuing trauma of having managed QPR but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.

Atrocious half from us. Madueke has evidently had his two good games (like he did last season) and is now just getting in the way of Gusto, who is our only potential wide threat unless Sterling creates something from the flank out of nothing. We would honestly be better if Palmer and Madueke swapped positions. I don't think a single of Pochettino's changes has worked today. Like a worse version of when we lost home and away to Swansea in the League Cup semis under FSW.

Given what a tw@t he is to us now watching him make an a$$ out of himself again would be funny.

As disheartening as all these poor performances are I don't know how the wallys on here that think every young player we've signed is world class manage to rationalise them.

How long can you believe all these players are top players without them actually putting in decent performances?

Still laughing at the daft twat on here who said this summer we'd have 3 great windows full of world class potential signings on here I'm beginning to think it was Boehly himself cause wherever these world class players are they're not making themselves know.

I'm not saying you're wrong but there are plenty of instances where centre backs have played as full back. Granted a wing back role may pose different challenges but the majority of the game should be comfortable for Colwill, especially as he is playing on his favoured side.

I want him to be a roaring success of course but, sorry  I am still yet to see what all the hype was about.

Kimmich is also 28 years old and won everything in the game. Colwill has played 2 years worth of senior football. Colwill is learning to be a LB, when he should be learning to become a CB.

The first few months of the Tuchel era had me thinking we will be lighting the world on fire for a few years at least.

How things have changed…

The first two Jose seasons made me think we would dominate for a decade.
