Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*

What are Winstewart seeing that we are not seeing?

The players look unhappy. No drive or energy about them at all. I think he’s lost the dressing room. Not in a way that they actively dislike him but I don’t think thru trust or listen to him.

He’s not our biggest problem (hello Clearlake and SD’s) but he’s now A problem. Today was shameful and this is not the kind of performance that happens if the players believe in the manager.
Looks more and more like our early season form was more of a leftover from Poch than anything to do with Maresca, unfortunately

Pocchetino got sacked after much much better performances that Maresca has been abke to deliver. Surely we have now seen the end of Maresca  errand?

Not saying Maresca is the answer but you really think the Sporting Directors and owners are going to pick anybody better? They are totally clueless.

w**kers the lot.. should end a billon to buy average players.. can’t think of many positions they have improved..

Palmer looked particularly disinterested, with the potential of missing out on the champions league again and the owners, we could lose him.

Ugh, was hoping to see something different from the Wolves game, NADA...

The football is sh*te, the results are sh*te, he's a goner soon, it's inevitable.

I can't see one player in this team besides Palmer who's capable of grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck and winning it, every other attacker in there is like a passenger.

If he stays, we miss out on CL football, that's for sure. And it's the only thing left to play for. That being said, who the f**k else is there right now? I'd go for Carlo in the summer, but right now there's no-one really as a stop gap.

Poch wasn't sacked. He just couldn't agree with the owners and sporting directors on transfers this past summer. They wanted somebody who didn't question them. If Maresca is shown the door they will find another yes man and the cycle starts again with no improvement.

Performances getting worse. We were outplayed tonight. When we are out of possession we look so bad. Willing to give him time but for me, we are regressing. Our win against WHU was extremely lucky. Needs to do hard work to beat Brighton next week. Our bench options are embarrassing too.

The whole thing is a mess! There’s no solid experience anywhere! Throw in a couple of experienced players for Maresca or we may as well have stuck with Poch.

I really didn't think things could become any more boring than that one season under Sarri (Europa League was fun to watch at least) but having Potter and now Maresca in charge has reached new lows that I didn't think was possible. For as long as I have understood different styles of football, I have always despised the slow, possession based rubbish, and now it feels like I have been cursed to endure it.

In football terms, we are West Germany Vs Austria in the 1982 world cup.

I don't think anyone can come in and get this squad in the Champions League Zeta.

The talent is there, but the mentality is not, there are no leaders. They'll just down tools, although I wouldn't say no to Ancelotti right now if he was available, but he isn't. I can't think of anyone else capable who would come in and get us bouncing.

I am sorry but where is the talent.. ? Palmer aside what talent are we talking about.. these are average or slightly above average players .. none of them are elite level.. can’t even think of Madueke and Neto starting week in week out at city / PSG .. and they aren’t young players..

Look at the defence.. we have built a Europa league level squad..  this team is not good enough.. there was a time when we had real talent and we have seen what that means and this ain’t it.

Are you really telling me that 2004 Jose Mourinho wouldn’t get this team to finish top 4?

The team need a really strong character like Jose, to instil belief into the team.

If it wasn’t for Jose, Frank Lampard wouldn’t have 200 goals and John Terry wouldn’t be one of the greatest centre backs ever. A manager in similar ilk to Jose really can get the best out of players like Colwill.

I don’t think the owners are going to go for a character like that unfortunately.

I’m pretty sure the majority of us didn’t want Tuchel gone.

I have hated our owners ever since. I genuinely believed they came in for good, but sacking Tuchel after everything that had happened the season before was a sign of what was to come. He kept hope alive in a period of one of the most uncertain times in our history.

I'll never forget this interview

I couldn't imagine a single manager we have had since Mourinho saying something like this. Now we have to put up with the bullsh*t artists like Maresca.

Where's 2004 Mourinho though?

He hasn't been around for the past 8 years.

Yes. The owners and sporting directors do not understand anything about football. We don't have any hope as long as the present owners are running the club.

For whatever it’s worth, I absolutely believe sacking Poch was 100% the correct decision.

It was his high intensity training that caused all of the injuries, if he stayed, we’d have 14 injuries now.
