Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*

Featured Replies

I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt but my patience is wearing thin. Still don’t want him sacked but he will be doing very well to come 6th and win the conference league at this stage.

The SD’s got rid of Poch because they wanted “controlled” football. Well, they got what they wanted and it’s rubbish.

5 years of this rubbish coming up.

Also, there was a record low of 31k tonight. Fans are voting with their feet.

Like I said, I hope more of the same.

Us consumers can do our part too. Won’t pay for any merchandise and I stream all matches on iptv. Won’t give these owners a penny.

Wonder who he will blame for tonight. Absolutely dross. He is serving this sh*t up regularly for 6 months.

Sporting directors need to be under pressure here, imagine having as much money to spend as they have, and yet the squad and manager you end up with can't even crack the top 5 of the league.

Then you have players talking like winning the conference league is some sort of achievement. It isn't an achievement to win a competition when the squad you have cost over £1B more than the next best team. It's the barest of bare minimum.

To think we couldve had Luis Enrique, or Hansi Flick. Both in the champions league semi, while we have this fraud limping into the conference league semis.

Under previous regime he would have been long gone. So now we're witnessing something we are not used to as Chelsea fans, this is what performances and results are like when the manager is clearly not up to it, the players and the fans have been aware of it for months now but they also sense he's not going to get sacked for reasons that have nothing to do with football, so the strange circus continues. It's bizarre, really.

I was under the impression Poch quit because he wanted some experienced players to help the youngsters and board just wanted pure young players.

Fairly sure he was sacked, him disagreeing with them might have had a large part to do with that considering he was not sacked whilst the team languished in mid table for most of the season.

Yeah they clearly fell out. I imagine selling Gallagher was a big one who Poch made captain.

Officially “left by mutual consent”

While a lot of the time it means being sacked, I’m convinced he walked because of the reluctance to buy any experienced players.

Guess we’ll have to wait for his NDA to run out and his book to come out lol.

Yep, it was pretty much common knowledge Poch wanted to keep Conor.

Question.

Would you take Amorim here if he got sacked by Man Utd. Are they a lost cause regardless of who is in charge. Would he do any better here? Would we suit 3 atb again? Would it work with Campos at the helm.

completely pointless questions asthis lot aren't interested in the football anyway.
