Not happy with our CB’s and keeper, unfortunately no one whose any good can come in

That is the problem.

and I said before the season that could be the difference between us finishing top4.

we need a better GK at least.

his distribution is awful

Why is that a question? The way he rotates between league games and cups, I don't think it's a question both will rest on Wednesday.

I didn't say rest , I said they shouldnt even travel. I dont even want them on the bench

Nice result to get back up in the upper top half, really good in parts, disjointed in many others.  I still mystified how we commit the same defensive errors week after week with literally no improvement, what are they doing in training?

I think this is the worst refereeing I have witnessed all season so far...diabolical and needs to be questioned...doesn't give a penalty for pulling on the shirt but gives a foul for the same offence a minute later and throughout the game.

Wednesday will be  barn burner, with Newcastle out for revenge although I am sure there will be quite a few starting changes.

I wouldn't be disappointed with Fernadez not scoring goals from midfield if he's orchestrating the midfield but he's doing neither at the moment....perhaps the number 8 shirt is too heavy to carry...

Decision making in front of goal is wavering a bit, but we create so many chances.

Palmer, Caicedo, James, Jackson and Neto all great.

Noni suddenly needs to start looking over his shoulder as there was a clear difference in intensity and quality between the two wingers today.

Dont know what Sanchez needs to do to get dropped, awful with the ball at his feet and did nothing when isaac walked past him and should have scored.

Top 4 going into this last game today, can’t complain, on we go!

Man Utd 14th - he will get the sack this week or if we beat them next week

Fcked off with regularly losing to weakest United team I remember seeing. Its been the same the last couple of years, yet as weaker as they look we still seem to fluff our lines up there. We need a convincing win now for confidence for the team and OT would be brilliant place to get it.

Hopefully Maresca is smart enough to leave james and Lavia in London for the carabao cup game on Wednesday.

He will most probably

There were many great players that wore that number of the years...including Terry Venables, Jimmy Greaves, Alan Hudson, Tommy Baldwin, even Bobby Tambling to name but a few..

Marescas comments about him worked perfectly. He was a proper leader and led by example

Yeah I thought they should change him at half time ... but in the end I think he saved 3 goals with his work at the back!

A great 3 points but we made much harder work of that than it should have been.

This.

Newcastle had no winger left and it should have been very easy for us to at least keep the 2-1 lead but defensively we are just 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 and similar to last year we need to control game better.

United will thrash Leicester in  midweek to save Eric's job .

Then we will eventually beat a sh*t United at OT !
