December 30, 20241 yr Would have thought this would be the sort of game Noni would thrive in but he’s been our worse attacker.

Should have scored but just tapped it back to the keeper, backheeled a through ball into him by Palmer. Messed up his touch with Cucurella's cross into the box when he should have been looking to score with a first time shot. His general play has been awful too.
December 30, 20241 yr Don’t think the game plan has been terrible to be honest. Had a host of half decent chances albeit mainly shots just inside or outside the box. Hoping for a few subs at HT albeit doesn’t seem likely going off previous games.

December 30, 20241 yr To quote Brian Clough, you thre at the back give the ball to a more skilled player to make the pass. we need one of our midfielders to drop deeper otherwise the the three idiots at the back pass it amongst themselves
December 30, 20241 yr Outside of Palmer, none of these players really step up consistently enough. I'm sick of being a one man team.

December 30, 20241 yr Having Felix dropping into the inside left and cucu wide is really disrupting our build up. Felix isn’t disciplined enough to stay where the system needs him and there’s a huge gap there. Could do with Jadon on for him, let Cucu invert into the inside left 10 and see how our build up deals with that.

Imo Nkunku is protecting himself for a January move.
December 30, 20241 yr Only two things in life are certain. Death and us getting f**ked by refs for the odd 10 points each season.

Game plan simply isn't working and the players have annoyingly approached this game at a pedestrian pace and Ipswich sensed it from the start. We'll be swamped with Leicester fans tomorrow telling us exactly how the second half of the season unfolds. This is their season last year.

December 30, 20241 yr weve been unlucky and not at our best, a bit of better fortune in the second half and we could be in control in a flash

December 30, 20241 yr Newcastle winning 2-0 against United, so they're right on our ass all of a sudden. How the f**k has this lot turned a comfortable top 4 position into looking like we are about to slip down the table?
December 30, 20241 yr Just now, POCH OUT said: Noni and felix off, Neto and guiu on I have no idea why he isn't playing Guiu, the state of this!
December 30, 20241 yr 6 minutes ago, Zeta said: Game plan is simply not working. No penetration at all. Ipswich just sit behind the ball and we can't do anything except swing a load of hopeful crosses in. Hopefully that's where Guiu and Noni can make a difference in the 2nd half. Give the lad a chance gaffer
