Not saying any of his replacement have been anywhere good enough, but has everyone forgotten the dire football we were playing towards the end of his tenure.  That was before these planks sold off an entire champions league winning side for kids too.

We haven't forgotten, that's why I said regardless of his results at the end.

Still, if anyone could climb out of that slump, it would be him.

Sancho has been another of the proper weird signings we've made. He's an ok footballer but never winning you a game.

Should never have put in place an obligation to buy.

Why doesn't Maresca try something tactically radical for once? He could "invert" a centre-half and get Cucurella to actually, I dunno, play as a full-back?

Just we both know that is asking for trouble.

If this goes on for much longer I would happily see Cucurella hooked for Nkunku

Get Madueke off, push Palmer out Right and play Nkunku through the middle, I dare you Maresca.

I’d take him back regardless

Would we not rather see a ball drop to Reece around the edge of the box than Cucurella?

Unless it's purely to limit the strain on his body I don't understand why you wouldn't look to maximise his attacking input

I think the stat was about managers returning to the Bridge after they've managed us, ahhh should've just copied it verbatim haha

Yeah don't worry I figured it was only after a manager had done a stint at Chelsea. I appreciate the half-time distraction that would otherwise have been spent fuming about the game.

We are as bad as we were under Potter. Done a complete 180 under Maresca.

Genuinely think GP would have gotten it right with time and proper support, I have zero confidence that Maresca will.

Potter had an absolutely horrendous injury list to contend with for his entire time here. What is Maresca's excuse?

No. But as you touch upon, what came after him was much worse. To me we has the last manager to feel like a true Chelsea manager

Maresca doesn’t want a marauding fullback. He preferred a headless chicken

So painful to watch.  The lack of quality, or willingness to try anything different is frustrating.  Feel like I've seen this game many times before.

Terrible mistake by Colwill - could have just put it out of play.  He really needs to improve in my eyes (along with many others).
