What a win! Way too many annoying Palmeiras fans there. Im sure it will be the same think tuesday. Onto Fluminese next. We have to play better than we did tonight.

Be interesting to see how many key players from us and Fluminense will be absent now.

It's crazy how Joao Pedro after spending the last few weeks relaxing and getting some tan on Brazilian beaches looks better and fiiter than quite a few players who were training the whole time.

Good win - shame about the yellows - I thought Colwill got the ball.

Delap - doing a Jackson - idiot.

I mean - he didnt get sent off and leave us a man down - so hardly in the same bracket as the brain dead moronic donkey.

Great to get through bearing in mind most of our midfield was missing. Santos had a pretty solid game considering he wasn’t expecting to start. Pedro had a great cameo even though he was probably on the beach until a few days ago, and Madueke was very lively and direct. Delap was disappointing. Don’t think he managed an effort on target, lost the ball a lot and got himself needlessly booked. Good to see Palmer score though, but he faded in the second half.

On to the semi finals. No Colwill. But Caicedo will be back after a good rest.

You're right.

Just young and stupid.

No Delap as well I think. Probably Pedro to start then.

Estevao was alright, but I don't think he was MOTM. I don't see how he was better than all of our players, he was pretty poor in the first half.

Pretty anonymous for a lot of the game but that goal was special, I'd have given MOTM to E.Fernandez, Colwill or A.Santos personally.

2 hours sleep so eyes like pi$$ holes in the snow but worth every minute of deprived sleep.

My bladder woke me up just before half time, and despite all good intentions to watch the second half, I fell asleep again. I'm such a snowflake 🙄

I think last night showed that regardless of what Maresca might think about Santos being the back up to Enzo, he is, in fact, good competition for Lavia. Did the job really well last night and will really help us to manage Lavia's minutes.
