Excellent 3 points considering how poor we were in the first half.

Good signs that we are beginning to win games when not playing well.

Still think we desperately need a CB.

I think we’ll be top at the end of the next round of fixtures

Maresca hints at new striker signing after Delap injury

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has revealed Liam Delap will be sidelined for several weeks due to a hamstring injury.

"The injury doesn't look good. He was full speed, hamstring. It requires weeks," Maresca said in his press conference after the game.

"In terms of another striker, we just finished the game. Now we will see if we take any decisions."

On the future of Jackson and whether it was too late to prevent him from leaving the club, Maresca added: "I just said, we finish the game and came here. We will see. I don't know.

"When you have two strikers, it's enough. When one is injured, it is probably not enough."

Is Datro Fofana still in the building?

Going to keep saying though, Semenyo looks excellent again today. Can play wide and can play up to. Big, strong and pacy with real quality

Never ever wanted VAR. supposed to be here to end this type of debate. Pointless other than ruining that spontaneous release of emotion we all miss.

Anyway I’m all for winning ugly but we can’t do a Sonia Jackson every weekend.

It's been confirmed now, this is exactly what it was 😂

He's cosplaying as Hunk. The arrest was around the corner from an anime and comic con. The police are an embarrassment, you'd think they have been told to be aware of cosplayers, it didn't need half a dozen police officers to pile onto him and to risk a panic.

They'll probably charge the poor guy now to try and save their blushes.

I agree, but at the same time, I think London has become such a sh*thole for crime that the police are now on edge.

He scored a really good header in the league cup the other day too.

Just finished watching in DVR. Couldn’t be assed to get up at 4.30 but did peek at team at 3.30 ah insomnia

Lot of drama😂 VAR defo blue so far this season. Glad Jacko staying sensible as Delap #9 cursed already 😅

Oh I'd missed that. Excellent !

Beggars belief though that were happy for him to be 3rd striker up at Sunderland whereas we thought we could get by with only two down here, despite have CL fixtures on top of what Sunderland would have ...

One injury and it all falls apart .. plan ? What plan ... LOL

Goalless draw tomorrow we are indeed top and in all scenarios our worst position will be second. Considering our performances can’t complain at that at all, result.

At what point is Maresca going to announce that we are not in a title race I wonder ? LOL.

We are in trouble now, the media, pundits, ex players from other clubs have made such an issue out of today’s match I can see Fulham getting an apology and refs denying us decisions unless it’s blatant until this all blows over.

MotD was pathetic. Danny Murphy and Steph Houghton both felt VAR got the penalty call right, but Murphy felt the disallowed goal was the worst VAR call he's ever seen. Absolute hysteria, which will cost us with refs and VAR over the season.

It's of course not relevant that one of Murphy's many clubs was Fulham.

I stopped watching that sh*te years ago. It's dated.

MOtD is trash. Both calls were correct. First was very soft, but the correct call. No idea why anyone would claim second was not a pen. Joao Pedros touch was ball to hand, theirs was hand to ball. Simple. No need for a ref apology, they got it bang on.

The refereeing in our match was poor, let’s be honest. For me, excuses like “finally refereeing in our favor” don’t cut it. I can’t even imagine the chaos on the forum if the exact same refereeing went against us – total meltdown.

Pedro looks like a fantastic signing so far, while I really don’t get Gittens – nothing special. The man management with George yesterday, plus playing him out of position, was at the very least laughable, if not worse. Delap got injured and will be out for at least 2 months, which is a shame, but stopping Jackson in the middle of Munich, a player who doesn’t even want to be here anymore, and trying to drag him back to the Bridge by force… that’s incompetence of the highest order. It was obvious we were one injury away from mild panic in terms of strikers, yet we did nothing about it. And now, on deadline day, we’re stuck dealing with bloody Jackson and whether or not we’ll actually force him back.

We prioritized Garnacho, didn’t properly address the CB situation, and Sanchez is still the goalkeeper. On paper, the transfer window looked good, but when you take a step back, it was chaotic, messy – I can’t even find the right word.

Meh. Sam sh*tterface on Talksh*t was of the view that Chalobah deliberately slid his foot under Muniz's to engineer the situation.
